"Lovely building and we had a really excellent dinner - the catering team was changing so they weren't on their new menu yet so what we had was effectively a one-off. Lots of attention from the chap who was taking over the running of the kitchen. We had an automatic email from the property saying we had pre-payed but when we checked out we were told we hadn't. "Broken down car in the car park is only vehicle there. Doors open but no staff. Have to go several hundred metres to ibis budget to register. Poorly maintained and unsafe feeling area not helped by signs pointing out that the car park is not secured "

"What a wonderful historic building this is. Nice specious courtyard and pool area. Staff was so professional and friendly. Easy to store our bicycles in the parking garage. Comfortable bedding and bathroom. Also the food in this restaurant is excellent. Don’t forget to try the soufflé it’s the best we have had ever! Breakfast great too. Would definitely stay here again as only 2 minute walk from the historic center. "
