Close to coach station, however many downsides.
The room appeared clean, however there was a smell of damp in the bathroom which spread into the other rooms. The furniture was quite tatty and really didn't fit the apartment. It just looked quite unloved and like it needed a redecoration. I also found it very difficult to wash dishes as the water wasn't hot enough and in the end had to put them through the dishwasher in order to get them clean. This isn't ideal. The sound proofing also isn't great and I could hear people in the corridor and in the adjacent room, this would be a problem if noise was made at night, which fortunately wasn't the case here. What was great is it is close to the main coach station and within easy walking distance of Jaude. I would use this again as an overnight stay on a long journey, however not otherwise sadly. It was however very reasonably priced.

The property is run down and looks like a hostel. Amenities are old and uncomfortable. Even though it is non smoking, it smelled like cigarette smoke. The unit didn’t have air conditioning and opening the window is not an option: other tenants are either smoking on the sidewalk or you have to deal with traffic noise coming from the very busy boulevard. All in all this isn’t worth the nightly rate.

The room was very small, no side table by the bed or lamp. The kitchen was very basic so if you don’t need to cook then not a problem. The staff were very nice, location good. It’s a good place for the price for few days but we stayed a week so decided to stay somewhere a little bit more comfortable. But it’s as I said it was cheap and clean, the only thing was the carpet in the room who could do with an update.

It's fine as an overnight stop. The rule book runs to about 50 pages, I got to around page 11 and then I was asleep. The big thing seems to be, if you leave the kitchen dirty you will be charged.

Good central location and room clean and acceptable. Great problem (everybody) experienced in gaining access out of hours as the Keycode unit obviously faulty and need replacement, albeit forewarned by receptionist. The lift was out of service. Both concerns appeared long-standing problems - pity as affected good overall rating.

Bon voyage
Great value & friendly staff just don't turn up late on a Sunday as no one on front desk & you have to phone someone to get door code & safe code to get your keys. Car park is not free & street parking only free on Sundays until 9.00am Monday.

NO WIFI OR AIR CON. No staff members were present when we arrived and we had not been sent the code to open the door. Had to ring the company to find out the code and then had to ring again to find out the code for a safe which had the key to our door in it. Vending machine didn't work properly.

Having arrived late there was no one there and we had no idea what we were suppose to do. We had stay at appart city n Amiens which was brilliant so we thought we would give this a go, but it was completely different. Lucky we had a phone and could ring to find out where the key to our room was and the door was open. Later it closed and we had to open it from the inside for another couple to get in and get a key from the safe. Once we had got in then we went for a walk to have a look around and when we came back we where now locked out and had no way of knowing how to get back in luckily a couple were coming back at the same time and showed us that you wave the key in front of a white box on the right of the door and that unlocked it. Also the breakfast was 9 euros per person and there was nothing left when we went to eat. So becareful not to get locked out and DONT have breakfast it's a con. The big problem here is you have nothing that explains what you have to do.

3 days without toilet paper!!!
They simply do not provide toilet paper and waited 3 days to let us know. Long lunch hours. Impossible to reach anybody from the phone number they provide for lunch and after hours. I do not recommend it.

I arrived at this hotel at 7:30 PM on a cold evening. The reception desk was closed, not one staff member was there to check me in and GIVE ME MY KEY ! I didn't know what to do. Then, luckily for me, a French person also came to get their room key. It was cold outside and I wasn't looking forward to sleeping on the street !! The French person read a sign that said to call the telephone number and they would give you an access code to get a room key out of the safe. I tried to call the number on my cell phone, but couldn't get thru to them. Finally, the French person was kind enough to call the number for me. WHAT A HASSLE !! The operator said my credit card cancelled the room reservation (I doubt that) and that if I wanted a room, I would have to give another card number, which I did. I was put on a l o n g h o l d and then finally got the code for the safe. But, it was another hassle trying to get the correct key. Finally, when I got the key and went to the room, I briefly thought I would be more comfortable sleeping on the street ! It was one large bed in a very small room. You had to about crawl over the bed to get to the bathroom. I will never book a hotel unless I know that the reception will be open in the evening. And, I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. I could write 6 more paragraphs about how bad this place was, but, I just want to forget this bad experience.

Minutes from city center yet quiet neighborhood
I booked this place while I apartment hunt for a new place in Clermont-Ferrand and I was very satisfied for what I got. The rooms are small, but enough for what I needed to do, and the kitchen with microwave oven helped a lot to save some money. The beds are sofa beds so they are not the most comfortable. The biggest issue I've had with the hotel is the internet connection. It keeps disconnecting me and when I'm trying to look for apartments in the surrounding area, it is very difficult without a reliable connection.

Inexpensive hotel = minimal standard
The hotel is located close to the city centre (10 min walking). It is clean and the bathroom is spacious. Parking lots are available behind the hotel. Unfortunately it was not mentioned that there is no breakfast on Sundays. So we had to leave the hotel hungry to look for other options. Also, the check-in is not simple due to the absence of any hotel staff after 7pm.

The most uncomfortable bed ever.
I arrived in the evening and had to call the customer service number to get access information as there was no one tending to the hotel. Some sort of free phone (connecting only to the customer service number) in the reception area would have been nice.. but no such luck. I called on my mobile and had to wait on hold for nearly 15 minutes before speaking to someone and getting access to the inner lobby area. As it turned out, though, I probably could have walked in without any access code because the front door didn't close properly most of the time, allowing anyone to enter the hotel at any time. The location seemed ok, though, so the likelihood of someone wandering in and killing you is probably low. The room itself was clean but depressingly decorated. And the bed was the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept on. It was a fold-out sofa bed with a thin mattress atop an incredibly noisy spring frame. It sagged, you felt the springs and any slight movement caused a loud creaking noise. I should have just slept on the folded-up sofa. Or put the mattress on the floor. That would have been more pleasant.

I was there with my granddaugther and bot of us had a great time. The ubication is great: close to restaurants, buses and metro.The staff in the hotel were very kind and gave us information about places and transportation. I complained about the breakfast because I was told it was a breakfast buffet and my idea about a buffet is totally different then the next day they add yogurt on it but the breakfast is good, the cafeteria is very clean and the waiter is very kind. The hotel is clean only the bathtub wasn't very clean and I cleaned it myself. Very good place to stay at a great price!!!

The English speaking reception staff was wonderful but they are only there in the morning for check-outs and the afternoon-evening for check-ins. Otherwise you let yourself in with your key. Think of it like staying at a friends sparsely furnished but clean apartment. My room had a sofa that opened to a better then expected bed. Full sized bath shower combo with plenty of hot water and great pressure. Kitchen has a coffee maker, stove and refrigerator pots and pans silverware and plates and cups. Everything you need but the groceries not even a tea bag, which is my only fault with the place, but there is a Carrefour near-by. Great hotel if your there for a few days but a waste if just a overnight stay.

Hotel reception is open only very limited hours so we had to make a phone call to get in which was annoying after a long drive. We could not access the car park or internet because no reception and was no breakfast Sunday. Room not very comfortable and no hot water. We tried the number provided but there was no reply. Overall very poor service indeed - the worst by far of our whole 5 week trip.

J'aime le côté pratique des appart hôtels pour l'espace salle à manger et cuisine mais il est très succint et pour la chambre en plus. Centre ville accessible à pieds. Bon isolement du bruit extérieur (orage ce jour là).

L'appartement (studio) est propre, assez spacieux pour 2 personnes. J'ai apprécié la porte entre le coin cuisine et la chambre. Les petits déjeuners sont très variés et copieux. La localisation de l'hôtel est très bien.

Chambre au 1er étage côté rue : Trous dans rideaux, moquette à changer, peintures défraichies (à refaire), pas de climatisation donc ouverture de la fenêtre la nuit = dormis avec les gens qui braillaient dans la rue toute la nuit + la circulation et le ramassage des poubelles.
