"Hello, This is not a small hotel as the pictures seem to show. This is basically a place renting rooms to people arriving in the evening for an early morning rise to see sunrise on Mt Bromo. I have never seen rooms and bathrooms so dirty, the bed sheet were dirty. There is no reception at all. We were obviously not expected on arrival. The rooms are spacious in layout, but some details reveal signs of wear—for example, the faucets show oxidation and limescale, the towels are frayed from repeated washing, the quilt is very thin, and the duvet cover feels as though it has been washed thousands of times. For an international hotel chain, I would have expected a higher standard. On the plus side, the breakfast is very extensive, with many authentic local snacks and dishes for guests to try. The service staff are also very friendly and welcoming."
