"The hotel was clean, however we found a bedbug on the incoming towels. 😒. We reported it to the staff and either they weren't surprised or didn't care. Things you should know: 1) Rooms are on the 2nd floor - no elevator and the stairway is enclosed with open hallway/balcony. Cedar Point's Castaway Bay

10/10 Excellent

"We took our 5 year old grandsons to castaway bay and had a wonderful time. We had dinner at Famous Daves the food was very good it had a nice atmosphere with great service and a nice view. Then we bowled and went to the arcade. We did the breakfast buffett in the morning that was also very nice. Then back to the water park we loved the wave pool and the hot tub. My husband and the grandkids did the water coaster and slides and had a great time. Highly recommend castaway bay for family fun!"

"Rooms were clean and a nice size, bathrooms a bit small but full size bathtub, staff super helpful and friendly…. Unfortunately the TGF ON property did a very very poor job full meals being served before any beverage’s kids sodas , cocktails all drinks . One meal delivered at least 30 minutes before any other food was brought to table and that food was incorrect in every easy possible and how do I finally got our drinks we got the wrong ones. Manager came to the table to correct the problem order a food to replace the food that was wrong and then absolutely never came back with the food. Had to ask somebody else 30 more minutes later.. very bad experience at TGIF very great hotel"

"The room was pretty clean other than an old wash cloth that was still in the shower. The bed was not a queen bed although it was advertised as such and when I asked the staff they tried to insist it was. I have pictures it was full not queen. The drain in the shower backs up too. The room is cold and blanket was very thin also there is no microwave or coffee maker in the room."

"The construction was extremely bothersome, they were right outside our window at 6 am making loud noises and talking loudly. When we spoke to the staff about it their response was “it’s our off season” no matter the season your services should be consistent and quality of space should be as described when booked. Extremely disappointing."
