It should state in the advertisement that you don’t have shuttle or carts for the rooms ! Omg the walking is horrible! My sister is recovering fro stage 4 cancer they put her 10 min away from us we asked repeatedly to have her closer myself am missing 5discs in my back and cannot walk that distance all day long! Very boring resort think they would at least play music around the pools get people into a vacation spirit! All of us kept getting locked out of our rooms, safes wouldn’t open with medication in them and the front desk wouldn’t help ! The main pool was nice the swim up bar pool absolutely disgusting! Band aids floating around! The one pool we did enjoy they blocked it off during our stay kicked everyone out and turned it into a private pool for private members from a travel company only ! Along with one of the restaurants! If you didn’t book with them and have a blue band you couldn’t go in ! I won’t go back again! It took a week for my swelling to go down from all the excess walking!

When I got there I didn’t have a room. My reservation was sold forward to another family. Food was terrible, my son got sick. Service is orrible. I have to stay at a motel with my family from 3am-7am until I got a room at another resort.

There were bed bugs in my room and I got bit all over and when I asked the hotel to assist they couldn’t do anything without me paying additional for being moved. One of the staff members told me they didn’t care for their reputation as they are demolishing that hotel in a few months anyway

The visit was nice at your resort! The dining and food choices were terrible. Most nights Thayer same food reheated to create another dish and the food was always cold. You all don’t use hot boxes. Even the soup was cold. It would also help the the mattresses could bd updated . It appears they are the originals. There is a lot that can be done to improve the stay.

PROS: cheap trip. White sandy beach. Clear ocean. Nice adult only parties every night at a nearby Riu. CONS: Hotel is OLD as dirt. Liquor was all fake (just the taste but NO EFFECT even with numerous drinks... it's just juice). Many English speaking tourists and yet the staff does NOT know ANY English at all. Excursions are unsafe (especially the horse back riding). Late on every pick up appointment. Promised 3 hours on the island and it came down to 1 hour. The shuttle "MyFamilyTours" was 1 hour late picking us up at the airport and 30 min late to pick us up on the way back.

The staff was very unhelpful. They were rude. The food was very disappointing. The rooms had no quilts, no iron. You had to put a deposit down for an iron to use for 1 hour. Front desk staff never answered the phone. The only time they were motivated is when you have a tip. Lisa ins the buffet was the most pleasant staff member. Lastly the mosquito infestation is ridiculous. You could not come out after sundown or you would be eaten alive. I would never stay here again. But I guess you get what you pay for.

Overall, the resort facility was very outdated. Stayed there for 7 days, the meals were pleasing but not spectacular. Taste is average for Dominican cuisine but it was always fresh.There was probably only 2 menu options each for breakfast, lunch and dinner being rotating for the whole week. There was only 1 A la Carte restaurant (outdoor) setting, we were eaten alive by misquitoes (even with bug repellent sprayed). Oh, it seems they don't spray to deter misquitoes on the resort grounds, so it was a big problem every night. The upside was that we met some exceptional staff. Shout outs to the following people: Abel - front desk Blus Willis & Luis - Entertainers Javier, Neftali, Gregorio & Mariela - Bar Service Sebastian & Miguel - Dining Overall we made the best of our time on this trip but we will never go back again. Although we've heard, they are demolishing the compound for a rebuild sometime in September/October.

This was one of the worst “resorts” I’ve ever stayed at. The bathroom shower had a leak. The phone did not work and cords were not connected. Room was overall was outdated. Bedding was barely clean. Absolutely no blankets only 2 sheets. Food was disappointing not many options and not tasteful. Literally only one restaurant which is a buffet style. There was no iron or iron board in the rooms. The lighting in the room was trash. No swim up bar. No security. There were hookers walking around. Disco bar was advertised as it being apart of the resort yet you had to pay for everything in there. Mind you the people working in the disco bar had on uniform from the resort yet stated it’s separate from resort. It was just a hot mess. I will not recommend.

I will never come back even if it is free. It stinks everywhere as people can smoke anywhere. Mattresses broken and bumped(I had to change the room and still bad beds), smell really bad, inconvenient personal higiene (toilet paper, soap). towels are disgusting and smell terrible, food is bad, personnel at the front desk not kind, personnel at the cafeteria very inefficient (except for few), cleaning ladies very kind but not good at cleaning. hughly uninvested facility, Rusted splash for kids (dangerous), unpainted swimming pool (and the painted parts were like sand paper), very dirty beach space (cigarettes, plastic cups) very deteriorated sun rest (broken), overall it was a terrible experience and if I could go back in time will definitely not pick this place. And please Riu Naiboa, do not reply that you are sorry to hear this because you didn’t show that when I was there.

Me gusto el trato tan excelente que me dieron algunos miembros del equipo (Erica, Anderson, Anni, Johan y Jeffry. Hicieron de mi estadía una mucho mejor. Por otra parte no me gustó el trato de Juan un bartender, con una actitud un poco agresiva para tratar con huéspedes no fue nada amable, tampoco me gustaron mucho las actividades. Necesitan mejorar esa parte y la discoteca está fuera del hotel y se tienen que pagar las bebidas. Sugerencia, poder incorporar mejores actividades y una barra en la piscina. Gracias

The only thing we liked was the beach. The food sucked, the water pressure in our room was bad and the power went out in the resort MORE THAN ONCE. Won't be going back there again.

My initial impressions have been positive thus far. The only drawback is that walking 10 minutes to the beach from the hotel might be exhausting, especially in this hot heat. I think they ought to offer shuttle service from the hotel to the beach. Apart from that, everything was excellent, and I will undoubtedly return.
