If one is not there for a fancy hotel room, but for sightseeing, this is a great, clean, bare bones room. It is close to the train station. We were on the 5th floor and had a great view! Breakfast was also on the 5th floor. Close proximity to all the museums and Duomo, 20 minute walk or less to everything. We walked everywhere!

Magnificent stay. It was the perfect location to see all the sights on both sides of the Arno. Breakfast was excellent and the rooftop terrace was a great spot to eat with a fantastic view. Staff was kind and room was clean and spacious. Highly recommend.

I understand it’s an old hotel that is centrally located. That being said, it is too overpriced for the condition of the room. I wouldn’t recommend to others as Florence is such a small city that everywhere you book/ you’re in the “center.” Not worth the value is all for me.

"It was a delightful pair of days. The staff and service is superb, I strongly recommend if you want to have beautiful days in an almost private beach in a park with excellent food. I recommend to dinne early to enjoy the sunset. Only suggestion is to increase the number of wine options from Tuscany ..."

"For sure not a 4 stars hotel. Confused and unprofessional staff and promised services not available for the most. Restaurant inside hotel very poor, breakfast good for a two stars hotels. Air conditioning impossible to stop from the room. Baby club only few hours for day and very questionable."
