"This was definitely a no-frills stay, but overall, I was pleased. PROS: comfortable bed and pillows, window, air-conditioning and heating unit that worked, shower was hot, TV user-friendly, located in between a Dunkin’ Donuts and a Burger King. CONS: no elevator, no extras (things like blankets, hairdryer, iron), towels were very thin, mini-fridge did not work (I didn’t need it, so I didn’t complain), bathroom run-down/stained."

"This is our go-to hotel when we visit our daughter in the Pittsburgh area, and we have stayed many different times over the past few years because we have had a good experience. I am not sure if they have gone through personnel changes, but this time was different. First, a positive...Chris at the front desk was great, as he usually is. He was friendly and helpful and took care of a couple of requests we made. Now for the negative...the hotel was dirtier than usual. There was dust on the lamps in our room and the baseboards under the nightstands. I do not think the hallway outside our room got vacuumed the entire time we were there (4 days). Breakfast was just not as good as it usually is; there were fruit flies in the bread bin, and a hair in the oatmeal. When I travel, I always look for a Hampton Inn and Suites to stay at because they are usually a clean hotel and the staff usually does a great job. Maybe this one is going through some personnel changes. I hope they get things figured out or I may have to look for a new hotel the next time I visit."

"Pros: Good location near lots of shops and restaurants, very clean and modern room, delicious breakfast with a wide variety of options, plenty of seating in the dining area, indoor swimming pool, ample parking, quick check-in/check-out. Cons: (Both relatively minor.) Our air conditioning unit was pretty noisy and made a crackling noise like the sound of a plastic grocery bag. We did not report the issue to staff, as it wasn't a huge problem, but it was a bit annoying. Also, our bathroom did not have an exhaust fan. After a shower, everything in the bathroom was dripping with condensation and had to be toweled off. Conclusion: Overall, we were very happy with our stay (especially the very clean room and tasty breakfast) and we would definitely stay here again if we came back to the area."
