"This is essentially a pole barn, and I assume it was once used as one, as indicated by the slight farm smell inside. The fact it's wide open is NOT a negative it's nice having room to move around, and the sleeping arrangements just work. Nobody (5) of us bothered the other while sleeping or staying up later than the rest. It worked out great. "The house was absolutely beautiful and was situated about 15 minutes outside Hamilton. I have traveled a lot a the hosts were excellent. I got to meet two other guests staying there as well. I didn’t have a tv in my room but it gave me the opportunity to unplug from the world. I did log in using their high speed internet and it was the best of any location I stayed at in New Zealand. The shower was awesome as well! I took some pictures as I’m looking to update my shower at home as well. ...

"It was an interesting and unique experience. Directions to property were a problem. The address, phone number and a map should be on the web site. We got directions from the i-site in Cambridge otherwise we would have been lost' It also should be clearer that one should bring some barbecue food & wine for dinner as no eating places nearby."

"Will stay again. I travel alot as a hotels.com gold member for several years. Nice spacious room. Only issues, 1 long hair of a female on bathroom floor and bar fridge froze the milk over night and some of my food that had to be thrown out as was a 1 night stay. Otherwise 5 star service "
