"The property is well into the moutains and is extremely quiet set in a very rustic olive grove with sheep and goats grazing on the hill side and around the villa (but not in it). The villa itself was extremely clean. Accessing the property did involve driving on a very windy road up the mountains but the scenery was wonderful. The host was very hospitable and met us in the car park of a restaurant near by and took us to the villa. It would have been a challenge to find it otherwise. Food could be bought in grocery stores in small villages within a 10-15 minute drive down the mountain side. For people looking for a total escape the property certainly has good appeal"

"Excellent breakfast and service. Room has a kitchenette with full fridge, stove, dishes, and some pota and pans. Lovely historical site with lots of points of interest including Botanic gardens and church. Excellent view of the courtyard. Only downside was the lack of air conditioning during a heat wave of 100+ F (40+ C)."

"We had a great stay at this villa and would definitely recommend it. The views are amazing. The villa was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed, and the pool was fantastic. It feels peaceful and private, but it's still easy to drive to nearby towns, beaches and supermarkets. The host was brilliant too, with great communication before and during our stay. Overall, it's a lovely place to stay and we'd happily book it again if we return to Mallorca."

"Location is isolated, however the hotel is self-contained and has excellent facilities. There was a real sense of peace and calm. Staff were excellent really helpful. Will definitely return quite a longer visit."

"Wonderful stay at Monnaber Vell. Well-appointed Finca with stunning infinity pool overlooking the valley. Food was really good with lots of locally grown produce. Staff were lovely & owner gave interesting tour of property followed by wine tasting."
