"The apartment was very clean upon arrival, checkin was easy, (keys in a lock box). Lots to see and do everything within walking distance. The beach 5 min walk and a large grocery also 5 min away. If you have mobilty issues this place has 34 steps to walk up to get in. There was no housekeeping and no broom to sweep up all the fallen palapa grass from the roof of the apt which seems to fall daily."

Ventus Ha at Marina El Cid Spa & Beach Resort - All Inclusive

"Our recent trip to Ventus Ha was incredibly special and memorable. The staff were extremely friendly, the rooms and the entire property were spotless, the buffet food was excellent, and the nightly shows were fantastic. The pools were also very well-maintained. While the beach in front of the hotel had a bit of an odor and wasn't the most scenic due to the seaweed, we understand this is a regional issue and not specific to this hotel. Plus, there were so many other activities to enjoy that it didn't really bother us. We would especially like to express our deepest gratitude to Grace, Rox, Andy, Nikki, and Xime at the kids' club. They took wonderful care of our children with so much heart and dedication during our 4-day stay. Another great perk was that even though we stayed at Ventus Ha, we were able to fully access the facilities of the other two El Cid resorts. On the downside, it was a bit disappointing that the fire show was canceled on our third day, likely due to the rain, and making restaurant reservations was a bit challenging. However, the quality of the buffet was good enough to make up for it. Overall, it offers excellent facilities and services for the price, and we would definitely recommend it to others!""

"Family friendly resort with lot engaging activities going on with main marina pool. Staff are really working hard to keep the resort well and people entertained. This is my second visit and I can say that it’s different from my last visit. Very hard to get any reservations in dine -in restaurants. Food options were limited and not all bars were open. This could be due to off season but it does let down overall experience"

"Room was clean and the staff was very attentive, food was pretty good as well with 5 separate restaurants and the buffet. Buffet did not have as many selections as compared to RUI but all in all it was still decent, no need to complain about weather or seaweed on the beach as Ive seen some do because guess what, the resort doesn’t control the rain or the tides😂 All in all I would go back."

"THERE IS NO BEACH. THERE IS NO BEACH. Do not let the pictures fool you. About four or five of the guest believe there was a beach because of the pictures and we were highly disappointed. Great pools though. Clean but a little run down. Mold/water damage on the ceiling by the light fixtures. The air condition does not get cold, its fan air. I had a patio to smoke cigars. They informed me no smoking. The spa was beautiful and the gym was great. The food is bland only dishes that were OK, were the lasagna and the fajitas. The omelette station is a perk and the breakfast tacos."

"We chose this resort for a special family milestone and loved the beautiful location right on the beach in Rivera Maya. The size of the property was impressive, and the grounds were well-maintained. However, there is room for improvement in several areas: • Rooms: Our room felt strongly damp/humid, which made it uncomfortable. The towels provided in the room, pool, and beach were often discolored and damaged. • Minibar/Restocking: Coffee, soda, water, box of tissue and other items in the room were never restocked during our eight-night stay. • Staff: Service was very mixed. Many staff members, especially in the restaurants, were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, several employees in the buffet area and café appeared annoyed when guests asked questions. Language was also a challenge — many staff had very basic English, which made communication difficult at times."
