  • Volcan Osorno. It's a long winding road up to the summit. Towards the volcano I can't see much. The clouds seem low (or perhaps it's the fact that the peak is at 2600m above sea level) and most of what I see towards that side, I can't capture with my camera. We've decided to take the chair lift up to its highest point - about 100m below the actual summit. Even though it's early morning there is a buzz in the air and it looks like people are walking the hills. Towards the opposite side of the volcano is this view - a glimpse of what the summit must be like on a clear day. #blue #volcano

Secret Nature Hideaway

Mareas is an absolute gem! A secret hideaway tucked away in beautiful nature. You feel removed from the world inside this peaceful enclave. Groundskeepers/chef/all around helpers Licha & Carlos were super friendly and helped make the stay seamless and comfortable. We were also really impressed with Luciana and her ability to book personal experiences for us in the region. Our favorite was horseback riding with the delightful couple who run Alanca, just past Ensanada. Seriously, stay here- we were so happy to have found it! PS Breakfast tasty & Hot Tub breathtaking!
