First of all, Motel 6. The only reason to utilize a stay at any Motel 6 is to save money. They have lower room rates and usually don't offer many amenities. So, I was not expecting much and at check in, I became concerned with the many additional rules and warnings that the owner repeated 4 times. I'm used to the usual, no smoking, undeclared pet, no breakfast, etc. checkin speech. But! He started mentioning mandatory housekeeping for stay overs and had individual WIFI passwords for each guest. Oh, and the yellow car tag for parking. This tells me that have had issues with people and I feared what kind of people frequented this hotel. BUT!!! It was actually a pleasant stay! The rooms were super clean and updated. There was ample parking and the parking lot was clean. The pool and hottub are outdoor and seasonal and are well maintained and sparkling. There is a dog park and playground picnic area with horseshoes! We even extended our stay and didn't have to worry about intrusive housekeeping staff as they were all super nice and accomodating to every request. We had to leave our 15 and 17 year olds for about 3 hours once and they accidentally locked themselves out of the room and I did have to call the hotel to get a key issued to them but after I explained to the owner, who zips around the property on an electronic scooter all day checking and fixing things, very pleasantly and with a great personality and fun attitude basically kept an eye on them for me! It felt like family

I like that it has a pet area a playground for the kids and even horse shoe pit for the adults. It also has a hot tub and a pool. The staff is very friendly and they are always there to help and make sure your stay is great.

Not great.
Broken window in bathroom just covered with plastic so it was really cold in there. Bare bones room. Exactly 1 towel and 2 pillows. No coffee in room or in hotel at all.

The women at the front desk was very sweet and helpful. Our room was fairly clean. The floors were not clean at all. The room above us played loud music all night long and talked and was awake all night. Almost like they were running a business out of their room…

The room smelled so strong of clorox bleach that you couldn't breathe. The window sills were filthy, under the microwave hadn't been cleaned in Lord knows how long, when I sat on the bed it slide back and there was dog hair everywhere and there was dog food and dog hair under the refridgerator.

Housekeeping staff is excellent. Weekend travelers can be overwhelmingly loud and obnoxious. The Mexican restaurant nextdoor is overpriced and not very special. Everything closes down early here. Outdated, but very clean rooms inside, and a safe place to stay.

Room had hair in bathroom. Shower didn't drain, and faucet didn't work properly. Told front desk and their response was the cleaning lady didn't get that fixed yet. I think it probably needs a little moe attn then the cleaning lady. Oh and the carpet had sticky spots in front of table

We checked in July 17th, our tv was not working, our bathroom was full of nats. We were moved to a different room. I discovered today that i charged a second time for a two night stay.

The check-in was good; the woman at the desk was friendly and professional. The linens and towels were clean. The bed was comfortable. The room was spartan - no place to hang clothes, no suitcase stand. The periphery of the room was quite dusty, dead bugs on the windowsill and the floor was unclean. The other tenants in the were loud, slamming doors, loud talking in the hallways, with running up and down the hall during much of the night. I'm sorry, I would like to give a good review, but I will not return to this facility.

Pros: - check in and check out was fast and staff was super nice. - room was pretty clean. - within walking distance to several places to eat. Cons: - the motel is right next to the city’s Main Street and you can hear every single vehicle passing by (we woke up several times from what sounded like drag racing on the street, followed by police sirens) - our tv kept turning back on every fifteen minutes. Since the plug is glued to the wall, we ended up muting it and putting a shirt over the screen to sleep. - the beds weren’t very comfortable.

The service at check in was very good the first room had broken fridge. The second one, the tub didnt drain, family member ended up with bug bites everywhere. It was over priced for the service

Room was upgraded when checked in. Older rooms but clean. Room cleaning didnt make the bed but replaced towels and soap. Will stay there again if needed.
