"Stayed one night in the old Stables and loved it, especially the historic exposed stone walls. Dinner at the hotel was HUGE but absolutely delicious!

"Convenient location away from the city.
Cabin wasn’t as ‘new’ as other Discovery Parks I’ve stayed in but it was clean and comfortable. Quiet and friendly staff."
"Staff were all fantastic and helpful from first entering through to answering million and one questions. The room was spacious, high vaulted ceiling and decor was elegant. Amenities were delightful. Would definitely recommend and be returning. "

"The home itself was cosy however a couple of issue we brought to attention so can be fixed for next time like the broken bed, oven not sealing. We also did not get notified of a maintenance appointment for meterbox causing loss of power and also scaring my daughter which I already communicated and the property managers at the time."
"We were greeted with freshly baked bread and a warm fire on a cold day. The views were stunning. Close by the main roads and easy access to everything."
"Beautiful cottage with a toasty fireplace perfect for the winter months. Great location within walking distance to Richmond Bridge and the main street for cafes and shopping. Johnnie was great with the instructions for arrival and easy to contact. Highly recommend!"
"This was a pleasant little cottage. It was well-equipped kitchen wise. Even milk and bread were there! The location felt like you were out in the country, but there were really a few neighbors around. Everything was immaculately clean. We had a problem with the heat one cloudy, chilly, windy day. I turned the heat down when we left in the morning, and then we just never got warm when we returned late afternoon. However, we are used to central heating, not a heat pump. The next day was fine. Morning sunlight really helps warm things up.We stayed here because it was a between our two main activities. We roamed Hobart one day and drove up Mt. Wellington; the other day we went to the scenic peninsula and old historic prison. It was also convenient to Hobart airport. We didn't do much in Richmond other than buy gas and a few groceries. There is a pretty old bridge in town. Thanks for a comfortable stay!"
