"Top quality house with every thing you would need including a very friendly owner.. Quiet and peaceful and near enough to visit Mantova Ferarra and Modena. However very close by is the brilliant Carnival Museum at Bergantino. Go on a Wednesday morning when there is also a very good market."

The children enjoyed the pool and yard - again well maintained. Our plan is to return! Staying at the villa made our trip to Italy pure joy. "Wir haben eine erholsame Woche in der sehr schönen und komplett eingerichteten Wohnung mit Laubengang und Garten verbracht. Der verschlafene Ort direkt am Po war für uns der ideale Stützpunkt, um u.a. Ferrara, Padova und Bologna kennenzulernen sowie das Podelta zu erkunden. Federico und Silvia waren perfekte Gastgeber. Zwei wohlerzogene Hunde spielten im großen Garten und machten auch uns Freude. Besonders hervorzuheben ist auch, dass wir unser Elektroauto an der privaten Wallbox günstig laden...

"We loved staying at the Affi house! It's in a great location - quiet village and drive-able to do many things (Lake Garda, Verona, Venice, etc.) Our children loved playing with the toys in the home as well as playing in the yard. We enjoyed the hikes up the mountain at the end of the street. I would definitely stay again. Maria and Paolo were so kind and helpful. They accommodated our early morning flight and met us for check in based on our schedule."

"Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Haus, es war sehr sauber und es gab alles was eine Familie braucht. Handtücher, auch Poolhandtücher, frische Bettwäsche, Sonnenliegen, Küchenausstattung, Waschmaschine etc… Die Anlage ist gepflegt und ruhig, die Umgebung und die Orte in der Umgebung sind zu Fuß, Rad und Auto gut zu erreichen. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war total freundlich und sehr gut! Sehr gerne wieder!"

"Wonderful views, great hikes out the door. Wonderful host. Never got to use the pool due to temperature outside but would be wonderful to use in warmer temperatures. The outdoor space was great for an afternoon lunch."

"Valerio, notre hôte, nous attendait à notre arrivée. Toutes les explications nécessaires nous ont été données. Le gîte était très agréable et bien équipé. Seul petit bémol, la douche est difficile d'accès lorsque l'on est un peu corpulent. Valerio nous a consacré 2 bonnes heures pour visiter Vérone le lendemain de notre arrivée en nous montrant les endroits à voir de plus près, c'était très agréable."

"Ideal for getting away from it all (we went on honeymoon) tucked away from the crowds. Ideal for visiting Verona and Lake Garda and plenty of wine tasting opportunities. It has a lovely outdoor space for sitting in the sun or shade of the olive tree. My one suggestion for improvement would be better directions / labelling of the property as it took us ages to find. The other one would be it needs some tea towels! Thanks Serena for being a wonderful host."

"Unser Aufenthalt war schön und das Apartment hat uns sehr gefallen. Da wir ein Krabbelkind haben, habe ich den Boden bei Ankunft sauber machen müssen, da dieser nicht gewischt war. Dies hat mich aber nicht gestört. Felicita war super zuvorkommend und flexibel. Als uns etwas im Haushalt gefehlt hat, hat sie uns ungehend jemanden vorbeigeschickt. Wir können den Aufenthalt für Familien sehr empfehlen."

"We loved our stay at the old manor house. It is a beautiful and peaceful country setting. We enjoyed the friendly farm animals (dogs and cats). Dario was a very responsive host and helped us graciously with anything. He even provided a tour of his winery for us which we found very interesting. If you are looking for a peaceful country get away then this is the perfect place. It has plenty of outdoor space and fun for a family."
