Tree House Atmosphere on Chalk Sound National Park

Villa Poinciana is a 2 bedroom, 3 bathroom, 1300 square foot house with covered decks wrapping around both buildings. The surrounding foliage engulfs the wooden structures.

Located in the quiet southwest corner of Providenciales near Sapodilla Bay, this charming villa is situated on the water's edge of scenic Chalk Sound National Park, a Turks and Caicos Island wildlife sanctuary.

Villa Poinciana is two separate but connected West Indies style wooden structures nestled comfortably into the natural flora and rock formations of the Chalk Sound shoreline. Poinciana comes with thre kayaks for your enjoyment exploring the islands in Chalk Sound.

One building contains the living room, kitchen, dining area and a full bath; and the other, two large bedrooms both with en-suite baths creating a tree-house atmosphere that is enhanced by the connecting wooden walkways and surrounding tropical plants. The many decks and connecting walkways offer sweeping views of a brilliant turquoise blue water you will remember forever.

Poinciana can comfortably accommodate a party of 4. Additionally, there is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room appropriate for an extra child or adults and a sleeping loft in the guest suite. Despite Poinciana's Swiss Family Robinson appearance, it has the modern conveniences of flat screen TVs, wireless internet, and bluetooth audio speakers for your enjoyment. Beautiful location for a beach getaway!!

Booked this property for a getaway with friends having never stayed in Provo. We had the best time, and it was the perfect location! It is a treehouse like atmosphere, but equipped had all the amenities we needed for the week and it was only a short drive away from a number of restaurants and activities. We loved Taylor Beach, which was only a short distance from the property and walkable. We can’t wait to visit Poinciana again!

Paradise

My daughter selected Colin’s place and we were very happy with our stay. Beautiful views and accommodations. Colin was very responsive to questions prior to our arrival as well as during our week stay. The iguanas were so much fun to watch! The area was calm and low key. We ordered in for meals. Loved the swifteats delivery app. Chartered a boat from Okeanos: wonderful! Mostly just relaxed and enjoyed ourselves on our deck and in the water! We had little lizard visitors every day that were fun to watch. Thank you Colin!

A great family vacation

We had a great time at Colin’s place for our family of four. Absolutely loved paddling out and visiting the iguanas in the kayaks and sitting out on the dock reading. The kitchen had everything we needed to make the majority of our meals.

Beautiful house with everything you need to have fun!

We spent a good time at Collin’s house. Everything was perfect and beautiful. The view was spectacular. Every morning was like a dream. Collin is very responsive and helpful. I would recommend this rental to everybody. We rented a car and did not even use it a lot since everything was in the house and the location is perfect. Heaven on Earth!

This our second time staying at Colin’s villa and will not be the last. Nestled on a quiet strip in beautiful Chalk Sound, it’s close to two beautiful beaches and well connected to the rest of the island. You’ll never tire of the sound of waves gently lapping against the shore.

Perfect Caribbean Vibe

We loved this place! The vibe and open air was perfect. Felt like we were actually at home and not at some apartment building atmosphere. All the glass in the living area not only provided an A view of the sound but the breeze was heavenly. Absolutely no need for AC. I actually wore a light sweater. The separate building for bedrooms was perfect. My friend was in heaven with the open sliders in her room at night. This was no more inconvenient than a two story building, the stairs are just in the open air. We loved it. The location is two very nice beaches with one having a very fun little tiki bar. Using the kayaks and paddleboard on the beautiful Sound was perfect for me. Lots of privacy surrounded by natural beauty of the Sound water was truly a slice of paradise. If I ever come back to Turks and Caicos I hope this gem is available.

Beautiful home with all the amenities

Our family of 5 loved staying at this property. The views were amazing and we loved having the kayaks and paddleboard to explore Chalk Sound. The kitchen is fully stocked along with plenty of beach towels and bath towels. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect beach getaway

This property was beautiful! We loved using the kayaks to venture out and see more of Chalk Sound. The views from the deck are STUNNING- even on cloudy days. Endless towels, ice chest bags, kitchen supplies and a washing machine were all great to have. Thanks!! Would love to come back.

This was our first time visiting the island and my whole family is so happy we booked this place! The accommodations and the views are once in a lifetime! Perfect Family Vacation

Loved waking up to such a beautiful view every morning! The house was perfect for our family of 3- 2 adults and 1 teenager. We enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding in the sound. We did a lot of exploring around the island and everything we needed was available at the house: beach towels, beach chairs, snorkels, floats,And small coolers to pack drinks and snacks!

Everything we were wanting

This trip and property were everything that we were looking for in a family vacation. From the layout to the stunning decks and dock we could not have dreamed of a better location. We had everything that we needed for our stay. And the paddle board and kayaks were such a treat! Felt like a private excursion every day being able to explore the Chalk Sound and little islands. Amazing location and amazing house/property. Everything was exactly as described. The views were absolutely stunning! Magical week at Poinciana

My family and I had an amazing stay at Poinciana. The setting was breathtaking, you are truly right on the water. We sat out on the dock each night and dangled our feet in Chalk Sound, and Taylor Bay is right down the road for late afternoon swims. We were often the only ones on the beach. The host was extremely responsive and helpful and the house had absolutely everything that you could need. This place is a gem!
