"Our stay at Island Sunset on Lake Murray was fabulous. Debra and Dennis are wonderful hosts, giving us on property help, but also allowing privacy. We felt like we were at a 5 Star resort. The accommodations were clean and comfortable with all of the comfort's of home and more! We enjoyed the use of the pool, jacuzzi, pedal boat, BBQ and fire pit on the beach. Debra even kindly provided s’more making goodie’s!! We cannot wait to return."

"So much to say but I'll stick with letting the owner know a welcome manual may be necessary for Wifi information along with general house amenities and how to work them. Not enough linen was available. No ice maker. Verbal communication with owner was a bit stressful. Try to cater to your guest, not your culture."

"Our host was amazing not only as a host but as a great person , she went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, my husband has a bad back soon as she found out she moved him a special chair in our room. the place is so clean and inviting i would tell anyone to go and enjoy .. the pool is clean and warm. "Our stay here was very enjoyable. The community was quiet and clean. The home was just like the photos, absolutely beautiful and spacious. Everything was spotless. The only two things I wished could have been different are that the sofa was a bit uncomfortable in that the seat cushions kept sliding and the other is that we had problems getting the A/C just right..either too warm or too cold. "Very quiet and clean. The boat dock has power and is easily accessible from a small ramp that is one minute east of the property. Everything works in the home and the view of the Saluda River from the screened in back porch is awesome. Neighbors were all very polite and helpful. Great vacation if looking to just get away and reset."
