Learn more about Progress Valley

Check out Curio Bay Petrified Forest and McLean Falls—just a couple of the sights around Progress Valley.

Koropuku Falls is located in the western part of Catlins Conservation Park along the scenic Chaslands Highway. The track leading to the falls begins from the roadside and you wouldn't know it was there unless you were looking for it as its entrance is somewhat hidden among the trees. From the moment you step onto the track you're transported into another world. The track leads you through the lush green rainforest, following a tranquil stream and passing moss covered trees along the way until you reach an opening where this magical scene appears in front of you.
