Newly Renovated Camp on West Grand Lake in Grand Lake Stream Maine

Newly renovated camp with beautiful views on the shore of West Grand Lake. West Grand Lake is a primer fishing destination known for it's fly fishing in Grand Lake Stream which is 4 miles from the camp to the village. The lake is known for salmon, tougue, white fish and small mouth bass, the water is crystal clear and great for swimming and boating. While we have a septic system, we do draw water from the lake for bathing and cleaning. We provide 2 bottles of water for drinking, you may need to bring additional water especially for longer stays.

While the camp is newly renovated, it has that old time camp feel with knotty pine, a sleeping loft, a mix of antique and new fixtures that gives the camp it's charm. The camp has a beautiful panoramic view of the lake.

The camp is just off Bonney Brook Road on Shady Lane. The road is accessible by car and easy to get to. The area offers great fishing, hunting, four-wheeling and snowmobiling with miles and miles of trails to access from the camp. Great hiking trails are also in the area.

The camp has a dock for easy lake access by boat, gas grill, picnic table and fire pit for outdoor enjoyment. Rates for initial guest is $75 per night and additional guests are $55 per person. Parties of 4 or more will be discounted to $55 per night for all guests upon request during off season. Family rates are available for July and August at $1,300 per week. Rates for solo renters in July and August will be $130 per night. Monthly rates are available upon request and my differ from per person per night amount.

Grand Lake Stream is a quiet village with a stream that runs through it. The town also offers a family run store with fishing supplies, groceries, a food counter that serves fresh sandwiches, pizza and ice cream if you would like a sweet treat. Step back in time and enjoy Grand Lake Stream has to offer. Everything for the outdoors enthusiast or for someone who would like to get away and unplug for a while in a beautiful setting.

Perfect Retreat

Wonderful stay at cabin. Super clean and stunning location. Everything you need to relax and enjoy the lakeside fire sitting in Norm's Adirondack chairs. Had spotty cell coverage around property but was able to connect.

Perfect Weekend

We stayed for a weekend and wished we could have stayed forever! My family really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was cute, comfortable and clean. The lake was incredibly clear, beautiful and framed by some beautiful mountains. The pictures really don't do it justice. Everything about our stay was great and we would love to stay here again.

Another great family vacation spent at Breezy Shores. Cabin was clean and has all that you need. We spent much time boating, fishing and swimming. We couldn’t ask for much more. We will be returning again for sure.

Enjoyed our stay at Breezy Shores.

Breezy shores is a great little camp, right on the shoreline of West Grand Lake. The place was tidy and cozy for our early spring trip. The view of the lake was beautiful, and it's situated perfectly for seeing the sunset. It had everything you'd need for cooking, bathing and sleeping.It's a great place to unplug (Cell service is spotty, but you can easily drive down to the general store in town which has free wifi). Carol the host was easy to communicate with and prompt in her responses. Great place if your looking for a classic lake cottage in Maine. I would recommend the place to anyone!

Very Nice Property and Owner

This place was perfect for a getaway to do some fishing and relaxing. Very clean and everything that is needed is there for you. There was a very minor plumbing issue that I alerted Carol about, and she immediately called a plumber to come out to fix it. She's a sweetheart. I'll be coming back!

Love it!!!

This was our second stay and it gets better each time! Loved the quiet, and the radio kept us in touch with the news. Floated on the water for hours just enjoying life. The pup loves swimming in the water and exploring all the smells!! I have to say the fabulous orange chair is my favorite! I’ve been searching since we got home to buy one!!!! Please help me find one!! We will be back for sure!!

Great weekend getaway with amazing sunsets!

My hubby and I took our two labs on our first family getaway to this adorable cabin and had the best time! The owner, Carol, was very responsive and helped answer my questions quickly and thoroughly. Like another reviewer commented, the pictures don’t really do it justice. It’s so beautiful inside and there are so many great details! We loved every inch of it! I feel like the owner thought of everything! We especially loved the daybed in the corner! It is such a special little spot with a great view! The views and sunsets from in the cabin, outside and on the dock are incredible! We got lucky and the neighbors were not there during our stay (there is a cabin on each side but not like right on top of yours) so it honestly felt like we had the entire area to ourselves! There isn’t a lot of room at the camp for the pups to run around but the area is beautiful for walking so our pups still got plenty of exercise and we got to see deer and an eagle! Also, the lake itself is so beautiful and clean! We absolutely loved this little hidden gem and hope to make it an annual place for us to visit! Thank you for everything Carol! You have such a wonderful home away from home! :)

This is a beautiful little cabin with all the comforts.the location is perfect as it sits on a beautiful lake that’s prime for fishing and swimming.the sunsets were amazing.its a little piece of heaven on earth.

Fantastic Camp!

Absolutely beautiful camp, has everything you need kitchen wise. Remote location. You are inbetween 2 camps, but you dont feel stacked on top of each other. Perfect view of the sunset. Gigantic lake with waves, had much fun floating in the tubes riding the waves. Beware! The weather on the lake can change very quickly! We found great cell reception when we went out on the lake in the boat! Crystal clear water and friendly neighbors that rescue you when the current carries you away. Shout out to Mark down the road for saving us haha. We had quite the adventure and best weekend. We would love to return in the future to this beautiful place. Also my dog did not get a single tick! Very nice outdoor space to hang out in.

Authentic Maine Camp in Grand Lake Stream

If you are looking for what would be considered a true camp, look no further. This camp reminded me of the camps our family would rent 60 years ago for summer vacations, but with modern amenities! The location is perfect and the view is to die for. Didn’t get to experience the beautiful sunsets due to 2 days of rain but would go again in a heartbeat. Your host has thought of everything!

Fishing Base

We had a great time at Breezy Shores this past weekend. We used it as our home base while we fished GLS. The kitchen was well appointed for a camp and there is plenty of room for people to sleep. Overall the camp is clean and recently remodeled, with hot water, shower and comfortable beds. Great distance to GLS. Thanks so much!

West Grand Lake Memories

We were looking for an out of the way place with great views and comfortable surroundings and Breezy Shores did not disappoint. The inside of the cabin was beautifully done in various pine woods, the view of the lake was superb and the place was well stocked with all the necessary items for our three day stay.
