Stunning Location, Gorgeous House!
This is a charming house, and attentive host! Located in the picturesque Prince Edward County, this is a place that I would happily book again and again. The house was clean, and very well decorated. You will not find Granny's cast offs in this place, whoever decorated clearly has taste. It was the perfect balance between comfortable, beautiful, but not so fancy that I was terrified. The kids would break things. If you like to cook the kitchen perfect. It was very well laid out and everything was labeled. The host provided coffee and tea which was *chef's kiss*. The host clearly quite a lot of thought and effort into ensuring that guests would be comfortable. Extra towels? Check! Board games to entertain kidlets? Check! Barbecue with propane? Check! The host went above and beyond in my humble opinion! The surrounding area is charming. There is a cheese shop down the street, and a winery that you can visit. Tons of buildings that have painted signs that look like quilts. Overall, just a really comfortable stay. And a very thoughtful host. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Quaint & comfortable
A group of four of us stayed at this cottage for four nights and had a relaxing time. Being right on the lake, the sound of the water makes for a relaxing and rejuvenating escape from the city. The cottage itself is adorable and has a rather mid-century modern decor which we loved. Beds were very comfortable and a great big kitchen, perfect for prepping BBQ and dinners. Plenty of board games, outdoor games and TV / stereo for entertainment. Location was fantastic because you are off the beaten path but still only about 25 mins to downtown Picton if you need to pick up some groceries or just want to have a dinner out. Lake on the Mountain is also really close by so there’s plenty to see and do. There’s a great little cheese shop down the road and a winery at every turn which is a foodies dream. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. Highly recommended.

Home away from home
We stayed for 7 days and felt like home. House is cosy and beds comfortable. Plenty of space to play outside or just relaxing by the fire pit in the evening…Even did a little cooking on the fire pit! Having coffee by the lake in the morning and enjoy of the view is very nice. Bring water shoes as the Beach is made of rocks…getting in the water can be a little tricky. Great stay!!!

Great place to stay!
We had a great stay. The property was just as advertised. It comfortably slept 3 adults and 2 children. It had all the amenities we needed for our weekend stay. We loved the variety of board games available, outdoor games, canoe, etc. Our children especially loved being close by the water and able to search for bugs and shells on the shore. It was close to picton Main Street which had great shops and restaurants.

Peaceful weekend getaway
A beautiful place for any group and with tons of privacy. Very clean, and has pretty much anything you could need from linens to a fully stocked kitchen to the board games and record player for entertainment. We stayed two nights but realized we should have done three to enjoy the private waterfront, fire pit, and kayaking some more. The hosts were very kind and helpful and my group is definitely considering coming back to enjoy this property in the warmth of Summer!

An Amazing Place in Waupoos
My family and I had a pleasure of staying at the cottage for 5 days and we loved every minute of it. The place is perfectly situated in the Waupoos region of the county with many wineries, and even a great cheese factory, a few minutes down the road. The property is a bit further off from a beaten-track... and that's a bonus for me as you can have your rest and relaxation as not a lot of traffic is passing by. The property is big, spacious with lots of room to move around, bask in the sun, play lawn games etc. Further, it's right on the shores of the Lake Ontario with private waterfront so we enjoyed an easy access to it and the cooling in its water during a July heatwave. The shore is rocky but nothing a pair of water shoes can't handle so make sure you bring yours. the house comes with all the water toys and gadgets you'd need such as kayaks, pool noodles etc. Simply put, it's all we needed for a care-free, peaceful stay. The cottage itself is immaculately clean, well-stocked and well maintained. The three bedrooms are spacious with very comfortable beds and sleeping in them was enjoyable. I truly enjoyed and appreciated having a central AC (given the heatwave we endured), dishwasher and propane BBQ that made the stay that much more comfortable. The hosts are lovely, they made the check-in process a breeze and were accessible to answer any questions. I would highly recommend this to anyone, and I would certainly come back.

Beautiful place in gorgeous, peaceful setting
This place is incredibly charming and beautifully decorated. George and Bo have thought of everything to make guests comfortable, particularly those with small children, which made our time there so much more enjoyable. They have everything there you could ever want. The location is lush and peaceful and near so many must-see spots in the County. We had an amazing time. Everything about the booking and check-in process with George and Bo was easy, and they were always quick to respond to our messages. Our family hopes to return here again.
