Good a commodity on and relatively quiet, easily accessible. Breakfast is over-priced and have to pay separately for a barista coffee. Should at least have some bottled water in the fridge in the room as well.

I found the reception staff to be a little less than helpful, however I know that they are front line and often get the brunt of people's frustration. I was awoken at 3.30am by the rubbish truck emptying the large blue bins, that was very annoying. One of the rooms I stayed in the bathroom was so small if I was a very large person I would have struggled to get in and move around. (511)

Awesome
Very clean and bright first impression...to be able to check in late was a bonus... The check in was very pleasant and took no time at all... My partner & I enjoyed our stay that much we booked another night...we requested a late check out thinking only one hour extra but was given 2 hours extra... Definitely we will stay at the Novotel Preston again

Hotel was clean and quiet. Cafe inside was convenient in the morning. However disability parking area was closed off and parking underground was not free for guests. We had to park on the road which was not convenient or close from the entrance of the hotel.

Small bathroom.
The room overall was decent in size and the bed was comfortable, however the size of the bathroom let it down. I could not sit down on the toilet comfortably. When I sat down, I knocked the toilet roll off the holder and had my shoulder jammed against the bath rail. Very uncomfortable.

The staff were friendly and were able to supply a shower chair when asked. The room was fabulous and suited our purpose very well. The downside was the lack of non digital information. There were no instructions on using the air conditioner and so we were chilly at night. Equally you had to use a QR code for in room service which I don't use. They read the menu aloud when I rang but a hard copy would be very useful. The breakfast was very good and so was our evening meal when we ate there - if a little tardy arriving!

The layout of the room was not well considered. There was a door stop located around the entrance to the bathroom and this was a dangerous trip hazard. Both my wife and I had separate altercations with it, tripping on it while entering or exiting the bathroom. The shower cannot be used without water spilling onto the bathroom floor and this was also a ‘slip’ hazard.

The room was good, the staff were excellent...no, I really do mean "excellent". Not often one sees right across the board like this. And the only reason the Stampton is still on site is that I could not work out how to take it with me...we thoroughly enjoyed the meals and casual atmosphere...and once again, the staff were excellent.

Friendly and helpful staff. Bed sheets were a bit dusty. Sink, cooktop and rangehood had been removed from room. One lift was always out of order. (Different lift every day). Overall good value and quiet.
