Top Preikestolen Hotel Reviews

Preikestolen BaseCamp

Preikestolen BaseCamp

10/10 Excellent
"This is best mountain lodge if you want to hike the Preikestolen trail. The food is amazing and the rooms cozy, clean and has the best view. We stayed in the lodge for 3 nights in August 2026 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The feeling that our teenage son was able to walk back to the room and chill while we were still on the trail was very convenient and worked out well."

"I booked this hotel since it said it had parking. I stayed here at the beginning of my trip and I was able to get a spot. But on my return at the end of my trip there was no available parking. I had researched and there was a 24 Hour garage about a 7 minute walk so that was not bad. I felt safe in that garage. Just at the end of the day and $380 a night it would have been great to have parking at the hotel even though you pay separately for it. Staff is great. Very clean hotel. They have a delicious breakfast. The hotel is great. I would stay again. Just be aware though parking can be available you should be prepared to park elsewhere and walk to hotel."
