"As a little motel close to a festival venue, the Black Bear Lodge was just what I was looking for. I was prepared for it to be small and basic and for the decor to be somewhat dated. What I found was a motel that was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The innkeeper was delightful. I would stay there again. "

"Beautiful house inside and out! The yard was so big my little doggies loved being free from their leashes! My HUSBAND loved the hot tub and how quiet the area was! My girls loved exploring the yard and the pond in back at night! I can't say enough good things! It really is a Beautiful house! Wish we had more time! Plus the owners were very helpful when we called at 9pm because we couldn't find the house on our first night!! Thank you!!"

"We had a great time during our stay. The house was spotlessly clean and comfortable for our family. Communication with the host was excellent. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking with a nice little market about 5 minutes away. Proximity to Windham mountain was a huge plus. Would definitely recommend!"

"Black Bear lodge is a great getaway and excellent base to explore the area as it’s so central. We had excellent communication ahead of our check in, a real warm welcome and helpful with dining tips. The room was spacious and comfortable. The lodge is just off the main road but if we heard a car we didn’t notice, it’s so quiet around there. The place is ideal if you’re looking to escape a few days, there was fresh coffee and pastries in the morning and loads of free parking. thanks for your hospitality 👍"
