"We are a family of 6 that just wanted a little getaway. We had a great time swimming, hanging out, doing s’mores, and playing board games. This property was very open and had lots of space for all of us! It got warm one of the nights and the property owner came and got it fixed right away! They were great to work with. "

The surrounding landscape was beautiful, and our children particularly appreciated watching the cows graze and observing a large storm roll in—an experience that added to the charm of the location.The home was thoughtfully furnished and well-stocked with all necessary amenities. The inclusion of king-size beds in every bedroom was especially appreciated and contributed to a very comfortable stay.The only minor drawback was the presence of a single bathroom, which required some coordination among our group. While we did not have the opportunity to explore the trail on the property, it appeared to be a wonderful feature and is something we hope to enjoy on a future visit.Communication with the owners was excellent. They were responsive and helpful throughout the process, and both check-in and check-out were seamless.Overall, we highly recommend this property for those seeking a tranquil and well-appointed countryside retreat."
"We stopped here for a night while traveling. The room was clean and easy check in. We like the open to the parking lot because we have a dog. You have to remember this is an older motel so the lighting is darker. We loved a TV that actually worked and we didn't have to mess with a dish."

"I've traveled to Algona before and stayed in the hotels, which were nice, but this stay was my favorite so far. The home is close to everything in town. It has a very charming feel and very comfortable to hang out with family. The host is very proactive and helpful with anything you need. The house is well stocked. The bed was extremely comfortable. I would stay here again if I ever came to Algona. And probably one of the best reasons to stay here is the garage if you were here during the very hot or very cold months, your car will stay in a very nice clean environment and you'll never be scraping ice or snow off the windshield.. The neighborhood is very quiet. I can't say enough good things about this VRBO. "
