"Place was pretty overlooking the ocean nice beach but small. Rooms were old. Shower was dirty liens were stained and place needed a face lift When you book on Expedia they gave us the worst room and told us that when we booked with Expedia you can not upgrade which I found insulting. They did have live music everyday. The food from the restaurant was good and the service was good especially Wellington. The breakfast was mediocre at best. The front office was not very helpful especially with transportation to Trancoso. They didn’t know the bus schedule and were recommending Taxi service for over $100 Us for a 20 minute ride. They must be getting a kick back "

"The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff is super friendly and helpful! There is a restaurant on-site that has cold drinks, delicious food, and kind servers. The air conditioners worked great to sleep cool at night, although the mattresses are very firm! The pool is fantastic! It's a short walk to a decent beach, and the vans to take you into Arraial or back to the ferry to Porto Seguro pass regularly. We would totally stay here again!"

"The staff and the owner were superb. The place was under renovation, with a lot of construction going on which was very disruptive. The breakfast food was a solid B, and the à la carte menu was also a B. The bartender, owner’s daughter’s boyfriend, was excellent. The other new bartender, new hire, was rather disappointing. This was my second stay( every time 5 days long). Altogether, I highly recommend the place. "

"Amazing location, right on the beach. The staff is all very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast every morning is top notch, with eggs, pastries, fresh fruits, fresh squeezed juices and coffee. The internet is fast and reliable. There are several restaurants you can walk to from the property, but a car or taxi is needed to get into Arrial d’Ajuda town center, where there are a plethora of amazing restaurants and shops. "
