Loved our stay at Waldstein Hotel in the family room. We all thought the breakfast was an excellent spread and set us for the day. Such easy walk to all the main attractions but still nice and quiet. Our daughter loved having her own space in the room. Thoroughly recommend.

The staff were great and our stay was pleasant. The hotel is a bit off the beaten path and sequestered nicely in a dead end so it was quiet during the night. You’re still situated right by the action with the castle a short walk away and the main bridge is down the street. The complementary breakfast was amazing. So many amazing options that were fresh and hot. I was grateful to have it after a morning hike in the area. The room was nice, heated floors in the bathroom were so posh. Beds were comfy and the room was clean. We didn’t need parking but it looked like they had a good amount of space if you need it!

The room was very nice. Big, clean, well decorated and very appropriately equipped. The place is very quiet- hard to imagine that it is located right in tye city center. Location is perfect- easy to walk to all major tourist attractions, and endless variety of places to eat and drink around. Staff were very polite and helpful. Parking is available only as valley parking, it costs 40 euro per night, and they take your car to some place far away. Your car is inaccessible while away, and you need to say beforehand when you want it back. Breakglfast was nice, with good variety. All in all, this is a good hotel in a perfect location. Having said that, in my opinion it is overpriced, especially considering it has no additional facilities (no gym, no swimming pool, and even the reception is at the building next door). Would stay again, if the modify the price.

A Beautiful Place

We had a wonderful time in the historic hotel. Our room was beautiful and breakfast in the hotel was superfine. We were close to Prague Castle and a short walk to Charles bridge, but far enough away from Old Town bustle. Hotel staff were professional, warm, and helpful.

This hotel is in a great area. It's very close to the Charles Bridge as well as the Prague Castle. Each are just a couple of minutes away by foot.

Nice atmosphere and kind support. Trams near the hotel provide easy access to the city. Good cobbled road to hotel. The hotel staff were smiling, friendly and polite. I travelled to several European countries in the past week and this hotel's communication was the most reassuring as a Japanese.

Lovely relaxing nights

I stayed here many years ago - price had gone up astronomically. Very comfortable and felt very luxurious. Greeted with a drink which is always a pleasant surprise. Buffet breakfast I thought was fabulous (as a vegetarian) be it fruit, cheeses, bread, pastries, cereals etc. Only frustration is that the bottled water in the room I assumed was free as it is in hotels I stay in which are half or a quarter of the price of this hotel - but they weren’t included. Over all comfortable, great quiet location in lovely part of Prague very walkable to all parts of it though and good access further afield.

This is the ideal location to stay in Prague. It’s only a 6 minute walk from Charles bridge, yet ideally situated away from the tourist trap areas of Old Town. The staff at Three Stork (the sister hotel of the Waldstein) insisted on carrying the bags upstairs for us. They were available 24-7 for anything we needed. A delicious hot and cold breakfast is available from 7 to 10:30 am daily at the Waldstein in a quaint stony cellar. Unlimited coffee is available in the room from a Nespresso machine.

Wonderful neighborhood and cozy hotel

Location the best of all!! Its in a fantastic location just bellow the Prague Castle, near the bridges and everything, but very silent and secure neighborhood. Only twice we used the public transportation during the 5 days. The hotel is wonderfull, we had an upper room towards the street on the third floor (europe=4th). It does not have Elevator so watch out!! Those with leg problems, but for us it was no problem. Very nice and cozy breakfast. I will return!

Don’t go there. Profit over customer satisfactio.

I had a bad experience at hotel, Waldstein in Prague. When I woke up this morning, there was no water in my shower. I immediately called the reception and told them the problem. They sent someone to my room to check and sure enough there was no water. The guy told me that it would take about an hour to get someone to fix it. However, I was on my way to Dresden and I couldn’t wait, so I had to leave. And no time did anyone offer me a room to take a shower in. In fact, the manager told me yesterday that if she could’ve upgraded me she would have but the hotel was full. When I communicated with her this afternoon, she told me they would’ve move me to another room had they know what the problem was. But like I say the hotel was supposedly full. When I asked for a refund of my night stay, she told me she would give me €20 discount off of my next stay. I have no intention of staying with this hotel group ever again. She asked me how much I paid for the hotel and I told her $82 and she said yeah that included parking but no I paid an extra €20 to park and for the tax that they had to collect, I don’t feel I need to fight this hard to get my money back for a night. I’ve been a good customer of Hotels.com and I expect them to make it good. I will communicate further with Hotels.com when I return from now this is the best I can do.
