All the staff were helpful and very friendly. Great location that is close to trams, food and attractions. Bed mattress felt a little slanty but it was alright. Breakfast was great with many choices. They let us know a week prior to check in that one day water would be out and they gave us huge water bottles and a comped day to ise in future.

Charming but just okay!

While the hotel lacked the modern feel, the charm and location were unbeatable. Room was spacious and somewhat comfortable. Lots of street noise from late night goers.

Great staff, all very friendly and helpful. Hotel is nice and kept very clean, however it is an older property and the finish wasn’t to the standard you would expect in a more modern building so this is a place for people who appreciate a bit of character where they stay. Was noisy sometimes at night as the old doors and windows do little to muffle the sound of other guests and people outside. Breakfast was a good selection and the location super convenient with tram and bus stops only a minute away. Shower was powerful and water nice and hot.

Excellent hotel, very large, quiet rooms in 200-yr-old building, super friendly and helpful staff. Outstanding breakfast array. Just half-a-block from tram stop with numerous lines in all directions across Prague. Great location for walking across Charles Bridge to Old Town or exploring the Mala Strana district. Highly recommended.

The Charles Hotel off the Charles Bridge!

I absolutely was blown away by the location of the hotel, steps from the most beautiful lancet arched entrance to the Charles Bridge and into the New Town. The hotel is so quaint, very clean. All the staff was so attentive and caring. I enjoyed my stay there tremendously.

My partner and I had a wonderful experience at the The Charles! The room was spacious, the hotel is very well located and the complimentary breakfast was absolutely delicious! We will be back for sure!

Winter wonderland

This was our second time here, the hotel is spotless, the staff are more than helpful. The choice for breakfast is really good. The receptionist upgraded us to an amazing room, because we have been before and it was my birthday . Perfect place to stay, close to everything walking distance. We will return again .

Obviously with our surname we had little option other than to stay here and our 1 night stopover was excellent! Lovely old hotel with many original features. Great location for this hotel. Its within walking distance of all the major attractions and sites. The tram station is right next to it. Lots of shops and restaurants. The hotel is clean, staff are nice the rooms are well equipped with everything needed. Its an old hotel though and the elevator is only available till the 3rd floor. We had our room on the 4th floor and carrying two big luggages was not an easy task. I would stay again but ask for a room on the 3rd floor max.

Beautiful, large and clean rooms and very friendly, helpful staff. The hotel is in a busy area just off the Charles Bridge but on a quiet side street. It is easy to walk to all the major sites from here but there are lots of transport options close by. One small negative is that the hotel can be quite noisy but I appreciate that is because it is an old building and depends on the volume of the other people who are staying there. That said, I would highly recommend!
