The hotel is a lovely place to stay and very convenient for all facilities. The staff are very friendly and make you feel as though you are important to them.

When I arrived at the hotel, the staff took over an hour to get the room ready. The reception hall was a mess and only two people were working at the front desks. The hotel doesn’t seem to have been renovated in the past 30 years. It is clean but the decor is dated, the rugs are faded and broken and there was no AC in my very hot room. Prague is a very busy city and understandably so quite noisy. That said, the window isolation in the room was terrible and I heard tambourine playing, screaming and talking throughout the late hours… the hotel did not have ear plugs to offer guests.

The Ambassador Hotel is conveniently located in the center of Prague. You can walk to most of the major attractions. The buffet breakfast is excellent.

Did not enjoy people using mobile phones at breakfast speaking in loud voice. Did not think people at breakfast wearing baseball caps enhanced Ambassador image.That is more Burger bar standard.

Great location. Friendly staff. Clean room. Extra pillows would be nice. A nice note says to save energy and water, hang up your towels to reuse them. We did, but you still replaced them.

This hotel has seen its good days long ago. It's dirty, used, things are broken, overpriced. Services rather average - only the people at breakfast were great and nice. Otherwise quite a shame. The hotel is definitely not five stars.

All was good.location is right in the center,close to everything. Hotel breakfast was good and had selctions.city view rooms are noisy till very early morning. I liked the hotel dispite of the noise.

The hotel was in an excellent location, but that's pretty much all that is good about it. It was very dated with staff that was non interested in doing their job (took forever for someone to see us at check in, the team at the breakfast room seemed to be running around but neither the empty tables were cleaned, nor the empty plates refilled). The room itself was ok. The closet was quite dusty inside (especially the door rail) and the safe didn't work at all.

Great property - noisy during the night
The property itself was in a really nice location and it was a nicely unkept and clean, however, on the night I was staying in particular, it was very loud. I’m not quite sure if it was construction or others but continued throughout the night.

Wouldn't stay there again
Great central location, but hotel and rooms are old and shows signs of it. The beds was very hard, and the springs pushed through, I woke up every night because one of the springs was pushing on my ribs so it hurt. The shower head was partly broken, so water ran out the side, and it not building pressure. The pictures of our rooms showed view of the square, yet our rooms only had windows to the back side. Wouldn't stay there again.
