I loved this place. Situated in quiet area next to a small river. Spaceous and modern rooms. The breakfast is great. If I'd stay longer I would ask to eat it on the balcony overlooking the river :) No reception after 23:00, but you can reach them though intercom.

I really liked the location of this hotel being very near the Charles' bridge and access to places near by. I will advise anyone who's interested in this place to stay during cool weather. NO AIR CONDITIONER at this location and you do not want to leave the window open for mosquitos and bugs will come in during hot days. Also, the water jars in the lobby is not being filled as often. The size of the water that's available for occupants is simply not enough or not available during the night and morning.

Loved this hotel!

Great hotel and great location! Walking distance from Charles bridge which is your main walk way to old town square. Rooms were clean & staff was very helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

Kampa Garden is located very close to Charles Bridge and Old Town Prague. The area by the hotel is nonetheless quiet. There are many nice restaurants nearby but few cheesy tourist shops.

Breakfast buffet was the best we saw in our month in Europe. Our room was visually stunning but had a funky smell that required opening windows. That let in street noise from 5am garbage truck and bottles being thrown out along with 2nd hand smoke coming from workers outside our window. The staff were wonderful.

The Kampa Garden Hotel is situated just minutes from the Charles Bridge and the John Lennon Wall - two of the must-sees. A park is immediately next to the hotel and the Vltava river is a stroll through the park. The hotel is really a B & B, as it provides only a breakfast (which is full-on excellent). It does however provide little free 'Tapas' for guests in the small lounge from 2pm daily! GOOD and NOT-SO-GOOD: Room cleaning is perfunctory, and is done, I believe, every three days, though towels are plentiful. The sink in the bathroom (Room 102) had no sink plug, but after my request the Maintenance Man came and (after one failed attempt - plug didn't fit) supplied one which fitted. I strongly suggest that non-slip safety mats should be available for inside the showers. The room cleaner more often than not didn't replenish supplies of coffee, tea, sugar. Milk is not provided at all. The room had a fridge whose door had to be manouvred in order to close it. There was a 'Nespresso'- type coffee maker and pods were provided when the cleaner remembered. What was outstandingly good was the the attitude of the staff, both in the breakfast room, and, particularly, two of the Receptionists. Two young men, Jaroslav and Jan, were exceptionally helpful, friendly and professional and were a credit to the hotel. They are the reason for my overall Five Star rating.

Great location, good staff but my family and I had bad experience due to no air conditioners there. We had to leave the hotel earlier after having a really tough night , 30c temperature without AC.

Excellent hotel

Given the price of our stay I was incredibly happy with what we saw. The hotel is very nicely presented and is in an excellent location. There was a lot of choice at breakfast and there were small variations each day so it was not repetitive. Staff were very friendly and helpful too and we even got a chocolate brownie each upon our departure. No real issues to talk of. Highly recommended.

No AC. No Screen window. Old building.

Rooms have no AC. We were put on the 4th floor which actually is an attic. The window has no screen. It was so hot. We requested to move to a lower floor, but was refused. Definitely NOT recommended.
