Lovely stay in Prague!

Since our arrival we have received great service. We really felt like we were fully taken care of. The location is superb! The hotel is extremely clean and well kept. Breakfast was amazing. If we ever are in Prague again, we will definitely come back.

Lovely little hotel well run with helpful staff. Clean, modest rooms with complimentary toiletries, drinks, free wi-fi, and a nice breakfast. It’s tucked away on a little side street but not a long walk from the river and the kafka statue.

I really liked the location of the hotel. I knew it was close to the centre but it was right in there so it was really easy to go around. Also the receptionists are young and cheerful all the time. The hotel is a bit smaller but it was alright. There is a nice garden and bar. It was a bit louder because the streets are filled with tourists but it gave it a nice lively vibe

The room was super small, the ceiling was low from the one side. The carpet was super dirty, like someone just threw up. Other than that the location is great and the breakfast was nice. The reception stuff was very nice.

Air Conditioning

There is no airconditioning which in the Prague summer heat is simply impractical. They give you a fan which does hardly anything. It is a shame because otherwise a lot of potential!

Be careful what room you accept.

Got off to a really bad start.The room we were shown to late at night on the first of our 4 nights stay was basically a cupboard.There was no room around the bed,the roof sloped so that getting to one side of the bed involved sidling along the edge of the bed bent over double .The wardrobe was on a raised bit above the main ( tiny bed area). When asked to be given a room as shown on our picture I was told ‘ that’s just a picture’.However,the night watchman did agree that we could change rooms the following afternoon so we spent the first night of our anniversary break in a cupboard. In the morning the staff were all welcoming ,the breakfast was fine- in a nice room.We had to vacate our room,leave luggage in the storage room then were told we would be in a different room( actually as shown on the picture) from that afternoon which did happen. If we had paid significantly less for a one night quick stopover I might have found the original room acceptable.I really don’t understand why the hotel would let themselves down by utilising that room in the way they tried to. On our third morning I noticed reference to a Prague card which we had not been given at check- in.When enquiring about this I was actually given one and it did give discount at the place we were visiting that morning.A helpful young man on reception then also gave us a voucher to use in one of its sister hotels on Wenceslas Square to have a drink in the Cafe Panorama- truly panoramic and welcoming lady.

Most of the staff but one were lovely. The hotel itself was ok except there was no ventilation other than a small fan. Though it said aircondioning was available when I booked there was in fact no air conditioning in the room. We changed rooms because the first was too noisy on top level both from outside noise and also from the corridors. Though one of the staff a lovely man was kind enough to move us to the third floor on the second night, the noise was still a problem from outside when leaving the window open. It was extremely loud with a bar nearby. Plus the room let in noise from the corridors. On the morning of check out opened the door on us while we were in bed before 8.30. Twice I saw people urinating outside the hotel. I definitely would not stay here again and I definitely wouldn’t recommend it.

Do not accept a ground floor room!

Do not accept a ground floor room! A burglar broke into our room through the window as we slept! Long story and fortunately, the terrific Prague police caught him and we got all our stuff back, but the ease with which he could enter through the ground floor window was unsettling. Apparently, based on the attached photo, we were not the only guests this has happened to. The Hotel moved us to a top floor room afterward (they said no such rooms were available when we first checked in), and we had no problems after that. Great location and excellent breakfast.

Hotel is conveniently located within easy walks for many attractions. No A/C means open windows and some street noise after bars close. Bathroom was tiny and only one chair for two people. Bar service could be promoted to help guests enjoy courtyard. Staff were excellent and helpful.

Helt ok hotell. Tyvärr inte som vi hade förväntat oss efter tidigare recensioner. Frukost sisådär - Inte stort utbud. Fattades exempelvis skivad ost. Städning sisådär - slarvigt städat (smutsigt golv). Fick be städerskan dammsuga en extra gång. Service - helt ok. Rummen var lyhörda. Hörde allt utifrån vilket var ett störande moment under kvällar/nätter.
