Amazing value for the money. 1/2 mile walk to old town clean, safe, quiet. Shared bathroom not a problem

It is very convenient to everything. Central station is 10 min walk. 15-20 min walk to the center. Everything was clean. Washer cost is very cheap. Dryer is free BUT takes FOREVER to dry. My load was in the dryer for 8 hours and it was still not dry. Kitchen is full stocked. There is fridge space. I would stay again.

We stayed in the hostel which was clean and efficient. The added sink in the room was a very nice touch. The only recommendation is to have a place where we could meet and talk with other guests.

Good stay at Hostel Sklep, check in was smooth and easy. Had breakfast included which was a suprise however when we had the muesli it tasted sour and the fruit was stale. Besides this the shared kitchen has a big fridge with boxes to store things for each room which was great and they had a paid washing machine there also. Overall, the accommodation was fine for our stay and only 20-25 minutes from the city centre (through the train station). Great for a couple of nights but might struggle if it was for longer.

Handy for the station.
Easy to find on the main road up from the main station. Check-in was quick and unfussy. Facilities clean. Plenty f pubs and food places plus shops within a few minutes walk. Left early so unable to comment on breakfast.

My room didn't have plug to charge my cell phone and I didn't like that I've to wait until 2pm for checking. Also, breakfast should start at 6 am not at 8 am.

Room and bathroom was good comparing with price, but wifi was slow. Close to Praha Central train station (1 stop by tram)

Big kitchen provided all we need. Clean toilet. Good breakfast. There is a slope between the hotel and train station, so it is a little unconvenient for walking, but the are local trains in front of the hotel, which can reach train station in 3 mins.

Perfect short stay
The hostel is complete with a restaurant so unless you want something more special, you don't need to look for lunch/dinner elsewhere. We were accommodated in a small room, normally given as a single room, but this was compensated for by a 200Kc voucher to use in the restaurant or against future stay. As we stayed only one night, and literally used the room just for sleeping, this was not an issue. Although we had a window on to the street, which was very noisy, the rest of the hostel was ok, clean, with a large equipped kitchen, clean bathroom and toilets, and a very good breakfast buffet. It's not far from the main train station, and close to the tram and buses into the city, and there is also a decent selection of shops along the street. All in all a very satisfying stay.

Nice place to stay
It's in a good location because it's close to the train station and a quick tram ride from anything else you want to see. The restaurant there is good.

Enjoyable bright colours in a very comfortable room with enough facilities to relax at the end of a long day exploring. Good internet in the room. Large hot and cold selection for breakfast. Lovely setting for breakfast. Good modern communal bathroom facilities. Everything you need for a base to fall in love with Prague.Location is good. 10 mins to main train station. Short walking track is 15 mins to Old Town or wander the quiet streets the long way. Or tram right outside the door.

Decent cheap option.
We arrived to a kind greeting from the receptionist who showed us around and took us to our room. It was small but nice enough. The shared bathroom was always clean and the toilet paper always stocked and the kitchen/ living room was great too. The biggest issue with it though, was that there is no WI-FI. They do have it and you fan find the server however it does not work. We were told they would look into it, we were then told it was fixed and working but it wasn't. everyone was having the same issues and it was very annoying. If you stay here make sure you have a detailed plan on what you want to do as the computer that they provide barely works either. The breakfast is also very hit and miss.. It was good one day very average the next.

great hostel for the next city break in Praha
the hostel offers all the basics: nice tidy rooms, good beds, clean share bathrooms. a bonus is the large guest kichen & lounge. Breakfast was very nice each morning, a nice selection. good location, tram stop outside the door and about 4 stops to centre city. will be back!

We stayed here for 3 nights, was a really easy 15 min walk into the city centre or there was a tram out the front. Breakfast each morning was great and had both hot and cold options. Only problem was two other hotel stayers smoking and the lack of double bed.

Good value
Very good value for money - location a little outside the direct centre, but still walkable to the centre (and there is a tram stop right outside the hotel anyway). Staff were very friendly and helpful, room and communal bathroom very clean. The neighborhood isn't 'up market', but I never felt unsafe (lone female) walking around at night, even at 3am. Some people might prefer to have a 24-hour reception, but it never caused any problems for me.

The breakfast is very good, I had dinner every night in the downstair restaurant with 10% off coupon, the food is very good and price is good too. The free breakfast is great too. besides the foods, the location is very easy & convenient. I like the hotel.

Good place. Internet was terrible - the computer they provided wasn't connected nor did 3 of the wifi networks work. Other than that, totally fine. Nice kitchen area actually.

A good hostel
After arriving in the evening to the main train station in Prague it was a long walk to the hostel because you have to go around the train station to get to the street which the hostel is on. We would definitely stay again but o highly recommend getting the tram from the station because it can go under the rail bridge where predestrians aren't aloud. Breakfast was good and the living room/kitchen had great facilities. Staff were nice and our room and the bathrooms were clean.

Hello, because there were holiday in our country on 5th and 6th July (Wednessday and Thuersday) we decided to close restaurant and reception and give holidays for the whole week. One from my colleague is allways present in the building and ready to help if necessary. But is not standard situation. Reception and restaurant are open regulary during the rest of the year.

Deixou a desejar em conforto e limpeza
O quarto é extremamente apertado, sobrando um espaço de menos de 30 cm para passar de um lado para o outro da cama. O banheiro é compartilhado entre muitos apartamentos tendo apenas dois chuveiros e dois toaletes disponíveis sendo que estes deveriam ser limpos com mais frequencia e mais qualidade pois ao longo das 4 noites de estadia me deparei com ralos e privadas entupidas e um cheiro forte beirando ao banheiro público. Para minha namorada, uma preocupação específica, a porta do box não tinha trava, e a lâmpada, acionada por sensor, apagava durante o banho, deixando-a na total escuridão.

Vi var tilfredse. Sklep levede op til vores forventninger. Vi fandt ud af, at sporvogn 26 går fra Sklep til en busterminal hvor man kan tage 119 til lufthavnen. Nemt og bekvemt

部屋や施設は清潔に掃除してあり、キッチンなども使いやすい。ホテル一階のレストランは美味しいチェコ料理を食べる事ができる。wi-fi接続が自分の部屋からだと途切れがちだったのが残念。

Da dette hostel ligger lidt uden for centrum, er det ikke overfyldt med backpackers osv, så du skal ikke forvente at møde en masse spændende mennesker. Tilgengæld er der fine køkken og toilet faciliteter, dog kunne sengene godt være af bedre kvalitet. Man skal ikke lade sig afskrække af at Sklep ligger i et ufashionabelt kvarter uden en metro station lige i nærheden. Det tager kun en 10-12 minutter at gå ind til centrum, der kører også adskillige sporvogne lige fra døren. Restauranten serverer i øvrigt traditionel tjekkisk mad til en billig penge, så hvis du ikke har det store behov for komfort og gerne vil bo billigt, så kan Sklep sagtens bruges.

En general es muy bueno, no esta muy lejos del centro de la ciudad y el personal es muy atento. cuentan con restaurant con muy buenas comidas y bebidas. El desayuno que incluye es muy completo. El unico problema es la habitacion ya que es muy pequeña y hace bastante calor (aun en epoca de frio)

Gute Lage, zu Fuß etwa 20 Minuten ins Zentrum
Hotel sehr spartanisch, Bad auf der Etage, erinnert an Studentenheim. Restaurant im Hotel sehr zu empfehlen, preiswert und schmackhaft. Frühstücksraum sehr ansprechend eingerichtet. Frühstücksbüfett eintönig und übersichtlich, aber bei kurzem Aufenthalt okay. Nette Angestellte.

только на ночь.
Долго искала,при заселении не учли мою просьбу о тихом номере, номер выходил на улицу с трамваями и по соседству жила семья с шумными детьми.но поменяли, с окнами на внутренний двор.чистые и просторные общественные зоны - кухня, сан.узел.на этаже много комнат и коридоров, тип - общаги, сначала путалась.Постельное белье скромное. настольная лампа и телевизор не работали.хорошие завтраки, рано уезжала, получила сух.паек.Wifi нормальный. при бронировании сняли 30% от стоимости номера.уже неделя, как выехала, деньги на счет не вернули.

Dear client, we try to choose the room according clients wishes but unfortunately sometimes it is not possible especialy during high season when all rooms are full. Some of the rooms have window leading to main street, some of the rooms have windows leading to side street. And about the charge of credit card: we never charge clients credit card ahead. We use preauthorisation which means blocking of 1 night cost as a guarranty of reservation. Preauthorisation usually expires automatically during 2 or 4 weeks. Also it is possible to unblock the money by our staff if you ask for it.
