Excellent host & spacious apartment - ideal for family stay. Well equipped & super location - walkable to all major sites. Highly recommended and would stay there again if we return to Prague
We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful apartment. Very spacious and convenient to everything we wanted to see and do in Prague. Ondřej was very helpful and responsive to questions. When we come back to Prague we would love to stay here again!
Great property in a perfect location. Wenceslas and Old Town square just a few minutes walk. Easy access to main tram routes.Property very clean and well appointed - great communication from host.Fully recommend.
What a great apartment and in a perfect location.
Super comfy beds, kitchen equipped very well for cooking and Ondrej responded very quickly to my texts.
Once you learn the layout of the city everything is in 20 mins walking distance.
I recommend this apartment highly from the easy check in, location and the helpfulness of Ondrej.
The property was as shown in the listing. It was perfectly located in the heart of the old town. It is situated on the second floor over a very nice restaurant, with a patio overlooking a romantic and secluded garden at the back of the restaurant. The owner allowed us to drop off our luggage before check-in, which gave us an opportunity to explore the area. We would definitely stay here again.
We thoroughly enjoyed the apartment in Prague. Big rooms with high ceilings, very clean and an excellent location. Communication with Ondrej was always very quick and thorough. Note that if you’re sharing with another couple - one of the bedrooms doesn’t have windows - just industrial glass - good to know in advance. We never really used the kitchen but if you’re planning to - not well equipped in terms of condiments, etc. but great plates, cups and utensils . Be sure to eat at Gardens - the restaurant just below the apartment.
Our group of 7 (4 adults and 3 children) stayed here for 5 nights. The location is great. Very easy access to everything including restaurants, cafes, museums and public transportation. The property was very clean and had all the space our group needed. Access to the property is through a very nice restaurant, which is a little unusual, but once we figured it out, there were no issues at all. The kitchen was spacious and had everything we needed when preparing meals. The area was very quiet at night. Having a washer and dryer available was convenient. We would absolutely stay here again if we return to Prague.
What a surprise! The flat is totally tucked away right in the heart of Prague. Loved how secluded it was and how it had its own private, large terrace/balcony. The host was very responsive and helpful and we had plenty of supplies (towels, toilet paper and such). Only concern was the second bathroom door is a slider that does not provide 100% privacy. It wouldn't keep me from a repeat visit though! The restaurant right downstairs is amazing! The garden dining was wonderful, but the food was outstanding. If they would have served breakfast, we would have never gone anywhere else! Luckily, right across the street, is a wonderful restaurant that serves a yummy breakfast (highly recommend the avocado toast or the yogurt).
Flat was in a great location and decorated well. Big, comfortable rooms. We walked to everything. Host was very responsive and helpful. One suggestion would be to put a plug in fan in each bedroom. It was over 33 (90F) each day and although the open windows helped, it was still hot at night - mire air flow would help.
This apartment is in an excellent location - next door to a grocery store, and on the same block as a number of cafes, bars and eateries, as well as metro and tram stops. Just steps to Wenceslas Square and easy walking distance to most of Prague's other top attractions.
Despite its central location, the apartment is quiet at night because it faces the lovely courtyard, not the street.
The apartment is very clean, comfortable and incredibly spacious. The bathrooms and kitchen are ultra modern, but the space still gives off a historic vibe. We particularly enjoyed the coffee machine, the large bathtub, and the comfortable beds. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!
We stayed for 6 nights at this Baroque gem and found the location to be excellent, the apartment to be very comfortable (our host even supplied coffee beans for our morning espresso), and Ondrej's communication more than wonderful. For those looking for a great place to stay while exploring Prague, this location provides easy walking distance to the Old Town, Prague Castle, everything in New Town, and the river. We walked everywhere, but public transportation is right out front so a tram is always available.
Despite being in the center of the New Town, and near the major tourist areas, the location is off the street and in a courtyard so the outside noise falls away. The Gardens Restaurant in the courtyard closes fairly early so we never noticed any noise. We also had an excellent dinner there.
Feel secure in staying at Ondrej's property - it's an excellent choice for a wonderful vacation in Prague!
Excellent in every way. Spotless and spacious, very well equipped with generous supplies of necessary products. Comfy bed and big bathrooms. Washing machine and dishwasher added bonuses. And extremely well located to explore all that beautiful Prague has to offer.
Really enjoyed the quaint, quirky nature of the flat- gave a real feeling for living in Prague. Easy 20 min walk to Central Station as well as to Old Town. Enjoyed the evenings on the large patio and the quiet neighborhood at night.
Well loved the place. Very central. Interesting story behind the the building. We should have stayed longer!
We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Prague.
We arrived and were greeted by Ondřej Turek, our host. He took us to our beautiful room above the most delicious and elegant restaurant, Gardens. The smell from the kitchen and the beautiful garden setting made it a perfect home base for Prague. It is a very well located property that allows you to walk to everything with ease.At the end of a hustling and bustling city day, it was always pleasant to come home each day and walk through the quiet corridor that shares the restaurant. What a treat!Ondřej was very responsive to the questions we asked during our stay. Everything was clean and comfortable. We could not have asked for anything more!Garden’s restaurant ending up being our favorite meal in Prague!I would highly recommend staying here on your visit to Prague!
Great place in the heart of Prague. Very clean and very nice having a washer/dryer. I agree with a comment made a year ago though, it needs more fans for air circulation. I was very hot (90F) outside and only one fan. There are no windows in one of the rooms so it can get very stuffy. Other than that I would highly recommend this place!
The place looks even better in person. We were stunned by the large rooms, high ceilings and great layout. The antique furniture and decor perfectly compliments Prague’s vibe, gives you insight how life was before the 20th century and how beautiful and peaceful city life can be. Highly recommend this place
