"The staff was very welcoming and great during our stay! Everyone of them that we came in contact with was awesome! The suite we had was fantastic! The hotel was in a great location and close to restaurants. Parking was reasonable in the parking garage. The only issue was that one of the elevators was down and this caused slow downs when it was busy. Overall a great place to stay."

"When we first pulled in my husband was a little surprised at my choice because this is an older retro-style hotel. The reception area and facilities have been kept in good shape, staff all very friendly, grounds are clean. The guests we ran into were typical travelers. Parking was easy. The room was clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable. Walkable to downtown restaurants. Felt safe in the area."

"If you are looking for a real first class hotel, you need to look no further. Read House is the place to go. First class starting with the valet parking, front desk, quality of the room, and the first class staff you run into on a daily basis. We definitely will be back."

"Nice hotel, well kept and very convenient. Just a touch from the main part of the downtown area but it's all growing together. Lady working the front desk dropped 6 F bombs in a minute and a half in front of my kid, another kids, my wife and I at 930 in the morning about being in the pool before opening time at 10. In the room it says 9 and by the pool it says 9. She wasn't getting after us but said she didn't give an eff that her boss didn't want us in the pool before 10. 6 times. Very strange. Other that that it was a good place to stay for a good price."
