    Great place for Holidays between Family or family friends or just a winter retreat with a pleasant fireplace. Ideal local for a walk, biking (the house has 4 bikes) through this typical and untouched countryside.

    Close to the town of Povoa de Varzim its beaches (5 Km's), 15 min far from Estela Golf Club and 30 min far away from such cities as Porto, Barcelos, Braga or Viana do Castelo, with excelent highways to get to know awesome landscapes, traditions and gastronomy - which the famous portuguese wines from Minho and Douro also belong to.

    House equipped with central heating and 3 bedrooms: 2 bedrooms with double beds, one with private bathroom and one bedroom with two single beds, 3 bathrooms with shower, large living room and equipped dining room with fireplace, TV and stereo, WIFI/Internet, fully equipped kitchen (ceramic hob, oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher and dining table.

    Outside, you can enjoy a terrace with barbeque and furniture to dine outside, swimming pool - 5m x 3m, Hmin = 1.35m, Hmax = 1.85m, garden, terrace-solarium with views to the sea, and garage. You can also enjoy garden loungers. It also has bicycles at your disposal.

Our family of four including two adult children were very comfortable in this well-equipped and charming villa. The pretty garden, terrace and pool were particularly welcome in the heatwave that coincided with our stay and it was also great to have three bathrooms. The villa is full of character and cool and tranquil inside. The village of Terroso and surrounding villages are quiet and sleepy with few shops or cafes and no bar that we discovered, meaning that a holiday at this destination will suit families who enjoy a rural setting. The surrounding area is predominantly farmland, so be prepared for the sights and sounds of the countryside (including a nearby very vocal cockerel!), farm vehicles on the roads and a pretty slow pace of life. It was lovely - and an easy drive to Porto, the airport, Povoa de Varzim and Vila do Conde (which we preferred to Povoa). Recommended.

Leider sehr laute Umgebung

Dino und Ines sind wunderbare Gastgeber, sie begrüßen und verabschieden ihre Gäste persönlich, erklären alles, helfen wenn nötig, beschenken mit selbstgebackenem köstlichen Kuchen und anderen Leckerein, und sie sind sehr freundliche Menschen! Auch das Haus ist sehr schön, noch schöner als auf den Fotos erkennbar, wir haben uns darin sehr wohl gefühlt, es ist sehr persönlich und privat eingerichtet und man darf alles mitbenutzen, auch der Pool und Garten sind sehr gepflegt. Umso mehr tut es uns leid, hier dennoch schreiben zu müssen, dass die Lage des Hauses zumindest für uns schwierig war. Wer Ruhe sucht, wird diese hier weniger finden, denn über einem befindet sich die Flugschneise des Flughafens und v.a. der Verkehr direkt am Haus und an der Seitenstraße vorbeiführend ist sehr viel und sehr laut. Das Haus liegt zwar am Rand eines kleineren Ortes, aber die Straße scheint eine beliebte Nebenstrecke zu sein und das zu jeder Tageszeit. Zumeist war es so laut, dass wir uns auch nicht unterhalten konnten und dann doch besser im Haus geblieben sind.

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus mit tollen Gastgebern

Wir haben zwei Wochen in dem sehr schönen Ferienhaus von Dino und Inês verbringen dürfen. Das Haus ist sehr gut eingerichtet. Es fehlt an nichts. Die Küche ist nicht besonders groß, aber es findet sich jedes Küchenutensil. Die Kaffeemaschine (Verwendung mit ganzen Bohnen) zaubert einen hervorragenden Espresso. Im Haus gibt es drei Schlafzimmer, zudem gibt es drei separate Bäder, das findet man auch nicht in jedem Ferienhaus. Nach einer Woche wurde einmal durchgeputzt, zudem gab es neue Bettbezüge und Handtücher. Die Vermieter verbringen in dem Ferienhaus immer wieder selbst ihre Wochenenden und Ferien und vermieten das Haus von Zeit zu Zeit. Dies merkt man daran, dass Dino und Inês viele persönliche Gegenstände in dem Haus haben. Die Einrichtung ist äußerst geschmack- und stilvoll. Der Außenbereich ist funktionell und sehr durchdacht. Die Terrasse wird gut beschattet, es gibt verschiedene Liegebereiche, das Sonnendeck ist über eine Leiter zu erreichen. Hier muss man mit sehr kleinen Kindern aufpassen. Die Steinmauern, die nicht nur außen, sondern auch innen allgegenwärtig sind, passen sehr gut ins Gesamtensemble. Das Auto konnten wir in einem abschließbaren Carport parken, der sich direkt unter dem Haus befindet. Der Pool und die Außendusche runden das Bild eines nahezu vollkommenen Ferienhauses ab. Dino und Inês sind zwei äußerst liebenswerte und aufmerksame Gastgeber. Die Kommunikation mit Tipps zum Aufenthalt in der Region über WhatsApp war super. Vielen Dank, 5 Sterne

Schöner erholsamer Urlaub

Wir haben zu dritt eine schöne Woche bei Dino und Ines verbringen dürfen. Es hat alles wunderbar geklappt. Dino und Ines waren jederzeit erreichbar und haben uns mit tollen Tipps versorgt. Dino hat uns eine tolle Einweisung vor Ort bei unserer Ankunft gegeben. Da unser Flug sehr früh in Porto gelandet ist, durften wir schon früher ins Haus. Das Haus ist gemütlich eingerichtet und sehr gut ausgestattet. Wir wurden mit selbstgebackenem Kuchen, Wein, Brot und Käse überrascht. Tagsüber haben wir schöne Ausflüge in die Umgebung gemacht, wir waren im Nationalpark, an verschiedenen Stränden, in Porto und und und. Wir hätten es locker noch eine weitere Woche ausgehalten :) Die Portugiesen sind sehr sympatisch!

Belle maison bien équipée

Belle maison bien aménagée et très bien équipée. Tout à disposition. Vélos piscine BBQ etc... Nous avons été bien acceuilli avec les produits locaux (Gâteau et Porto...). Nicht nur das Objekt an sich und die Ausstattung sondern auch die Herzlichkeit der Begrüßung waren einmalig. Es hat an nichts gefehlt, im Gegenteil eine Grundausstattung war vorhanden. Die Tipps der Vermieter, waren einzigartig. Sehr zu empfehlen , wenn man Nordportugal erkunden will und Abends lieber unter sich auf der Terrasse noch ein Glas trinken möchte.

Wonderful host, nice spacy house with pool, feels like home

Dino & Ines are fantastic hosts - upon arrival we were welcomed very friendly and to our suprise received gifts such as wine, cheese and a self baked cake - fantastic. The house itself feels like home, very personally decorated. Everything is there to make the stay comfortable including a fully equipped little kitchen. Our kids loved the pool and eating outside on the terrace. During our stay Dino provided us with many tipps for points of interest and restaurants - well appreciated. We just can recommend this house and Dino and Ines as hosts. If we should be on vacation again in the north of Portugal we will make sure to book this again. Thanks Dino & Ines, all the best!

Heerlijke relaxing vakantie

Zeer vriendelijk ontvangst en tips van de eigenaar. De kids konden niet wachten om het zwembad in te duiken en daarna heerlijk opdrogen in het zonnetje op het dakterras. Het is een schitterend huis, genoeg ruimte voor ons gezin met 4 kids. Schitterende omgeving. Elke dag heerlijk vers brood van de bakkerij, op nog geen 10 minuten loopafstand. Naast de bakkerij een klein winkeltje voor de basisvoorzieningen. Dit keer geen auto gehuurd, maar gebruik gemaakt van openbaar vervoer en de taxi. Het is te doen, maar de volgende keer toch maar een auto erbij. Natuurlijk ook naar de stad Porto en het strand geweest. En even gewandeld over De markt in Barcelos. Al met al een heerlijke vakantie. A very comfortable house with a lovely pool and garden. The property benefits from having a garage.

Dino and Ines were the perfect hosts, they could not have done more for us. On our first night they even took us out to a restaurant for a super meal before showing us around Povao de Vazim. They pointed out the local supermarkets, metro station, parking and took us on a tour of the town. The house had everything that we could have wanted together with bread, cheese, a nice bottle of wine and even a home baked cake. Dino sent us links for places of interest nearby as well as recommended restaurants, all these with telephone numbers and Sat Nav co-ordinates. A wonderful stay.

Lovely villa and wonderful owners.

This was our first time to the north of Portugal. We travelled by car and came to the house late on a saturday eve. Inez and Dino, the wonderful owners, waited for us in the house with wine, cheese, bread and a homemade cake. What a fantastic welcomming! We stayed in the house for 9 days, and loved every minute. The garden is butiful and the arcitecture and furnishing of the house is tastfully Portugese. We recomend this house for families who wants a quite holiday and who also wants to discover the charming Porto area. Thank you Dino and Inez for making us feel as your unique guests. Prachtig authentiek huis in een schitterende omgeving

In juli 2018 verbleven we met ons gezin en opa en oma een week in het huis van Dino en Ines. Wat een heerlijk ontvangst van deze gastvrije mensen. Een wijntje en biertje stonden klaar en Ines had zelfs een taart gebakken! Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien en we hebben genoten van de schitterde tuin en het mooie uitzicht. Van Dino kregen we allerlei goede tips voor uitjes in de omgeving. Natuurlijk bezochten we Porto, maar Guilmares en Ponto de Lima waren zeker ook de moeite waard. Na een week vertrokken we om nog meer van Portugal te bekijken, maar als we nog een keer naar deze omgeving gaan, dan komen we zeker bij Dino en Ines terug. Bedankt voor een heerlijke week! Excellent séjour près de Porto

Nous garderons un formidable souvenir de notre séjour dans votre maison, qui est très agréable pour des vacances en famille. La décoration est très soignée et de bon goût, chaque pièce très fonctionnelle, et on se sent vite "chez soi". Le jardin et la terrasse forment un écrin de charme à l'ensemble, avec une vue sympathique sur la station balnéaire toute proche et la mer en toile de fond. La maison est également idéalement située pour partir à la découverte de Guimaraes, Braga, Vallée du Douro et bien sûr Porto, ainsi que Barcelos. L'accueil des propriétaires est plus que chaleureux, avec beaucoup de conseils, de gentillesse, et même des cadeaux de bienvenue pour nous faire découvrir quelques unes des spécialités culinaires de la région... Nous recommandons bien volontiers cette location, tant en raison de la qualité de l'hébergement que pour la gentillesse des propriétaires.

Well equipped comfortable family house

We spent one week in this comfortable house with our family. It's a very nice and convience house with a fine garden and pool. The owners Dino&Ines made us feel very welcome. We had an unforgettable and enjoying stay in their clean and well equipped family house.

Lovely family house close to Porto

We stayed in Dino and Ines' house for one week with a family of five, and really enjoyed our stay. Dino and Ines went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The house is well equipped with everything you might need, from expresso machine to Wifi and everything in between. The area around Porto and Porto itself is nice to visit with this house as a base. To have a car is advisable.

Charming house that ticks all the boxes

One week spent in this charming and very clean holiday home with private pool and outdoor shower in a nice garden. The house is situated with easy access to the beach. A visit to Porto is a must. Fine facilities with own garage. Internet works perfect. We were 3 persons - one couple and a friend and enjoyed the fully equipped home as well as the privacy it gives having separate bathrooms etc. The owners Dino and Ines made us feel very welcome. They do a big job in order to satisfy the stay for their guests and we can indeed recommend this house to others. We would be happy to come back to this place again.
