One of the staff members came and rudely asked us to be quiet at 9:15pm on a Saturday. To my understanding quiet time is at 10pm EVERY WHERE so I’m not sure what their deal was and we weren’t even being that loud we were simply playing a card game. At 5 pm I had called for extra towels and they didn’t have any clean towels available until 7/8 pm. They never delivered the towels and at 9:30 we had to go ask for towels again at the front desk.

The whole place had a funky smell. There was at least an inch of dust all around the edge of the walls in the room we were in. There was lots of dust on tops of lamps and the furniture in the room was very old and beat up. There was some really gross stain on the bedspread on my bed. On the positive side the bathroom was fairly clean, there was hot water, and the bed itself was not too bad. Everything about the place was pretty rundown and just dirty looking. We didn't have a lot of money to work with though, and this sort of fit the bill. Next time I would look to be a little further away from New Paltz at something cleaner.
