Family Estate Retreat in Potomac | Private Pool, Playset, Screened Porch | 4BR/3.5BA

  • Welcome to your home away from home at Tara Road. This spacious, family-friendly upstairs retreat offers 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths, a beautiful backyard with a children’s playground, and a stunning, inviting pool. Unwind on the screened-in porch or enjoy time together indoors and out. Bright, welcoming, and designed for comfort.

    Please note: the basement apartment is occupied by a wonderful family. No issues to date.

    In addition, the pool does not open until June 2026.
    We hope you’ve enjoyed your time here and had a restful stay!

    Before departing, we kindly ask that you complete the following to help us prepare the space for our next guests:
    • Please turn off all lights and electronics, including the television and stove
    • Ensure all appliances are powered off
    • Set the thermostat to 70°F
    • Place all used linens and towels neatly in the laundry room
    • Dispose of all trash and recycling in the designated bins
    • Load used dishes into the dishwasher or wash them prior to departure
    • Close all windows and ensure the front door is locked securely

    There’s no need to worry about deep cleaning—we’ll take care of the rest.

We stayed for a week and had a great time! House is very comfortable with all the amenities you need. Pool was the perfect size and well maintained and a necessity with the 100 degree heat we had in early July.

The property and amenities were amazing. My family truly enjoyed our stay including the pups and grandchild. Janelle, the property manager,was responsive and helpful. The grounds were a stunning oasis. I would revisit. There were some strange omissions and areas that fell short of the overall expectation.1. No manual to help acquaint yourself with the appliances, property, pool heating, grounds lightning. This required several calls to the property manager to get acquainted and still we were unable to get the pool lights to work which meant we could not take a nighttime dip.2. Pool was very dirty and in need of a full cleaning which was immediately attended to when we notified the property management but it did not get cleaned until the late afternoon of our second day.3. Old and rotten food left in the refrigerator. Moldy coffee grounds left in the coffee maker. Eww.. The property manager offered to send a crew to clean the house again.4. Paper blinds stuck on the windows in lieu of actual blinds or drapes. Empty book shelves.5. Broken kitchen grill appliance and no outdoor grill provided.6. Tennis court net sagging and tied up with electrical cord.7. Only TVs are in the family room and the Primary Bedroom.8. The appliances are high end but, old. The freezer door sticks.The oven/microwave buttons are tricky to respond to push commands. The toaster does not work. The electric wine opener is just gross to hold and leaves black grime on your hands. Bring a wine key.
