You booked two adults only and failed to mention you were bringing 2 children. When asked to pay for the children you resisted and we advised we could direct to another motel. You stated you had been driving for 3 hours. We showed compassion allowing the children to stay. The children occupied the back bedroom and the two single beds were used. There is a cost for this, someone must wash their linen. It is realistic to think they would have showered and used the bathroom facilities, they would have eaten in the kitchen, additional milk was supplied for the children's breakfast, additional rubbish would have been generated from the two additional children and you argued that there should not be an extra cost for two children. The last time we went skiing we paid $75 per head to stay in a dormitory. Thee was four of us, same make up as your party. We had to provide our own linen, blankets etc. We booked direct so there was no OTA travel agents fee. Our rates are comparable to the dormitory rates

Mosquito nets block the views. A bit of planning like turning off outside lights, closing windows before the sun goes down goes a long way to eliminating the presence of mozzies in the room.

Wow you had a mis-matched wine glass. That should have never happened, that was our fault and especially when you were paying $60 a head to be in the unit. Such extravagance. It's a wonder you weren't demanding crystal so you could pour your $12.99 bottle of wine into it. Take the staff member out and put them up against the wall and shoot him /her. You could read the signs, you read the compendium, but you took it upon your self to go down to the fishing ground and not the suggested walk to the Bay. You had a choice, Even though it appears you are grossly unfit you went there on your accord. And that's our fault? You chose a remote place to stay at, and then you whine that there's no where else to eat. If you were completely honest, you made a bit of a spectacle of your self in the reception, But then you probably don't notice, because it is now part of your modus operandi. You had your companions with you and "Look at me" But you met your match with a staff member who dished it back and thereafter you wanted blood. Nothing we could have done would have pleased you. This is just your attempt to retaliate.

We say that for a reason, we want to clean the rooms properly. we can't do it when someone has come into it!

Susan Rae or should I call you Anonymous., When the front door to a business is closed, it would be assumed by the average person, that it is closed for a reason. It wasn't enough for you, nor was the notice stating sign in is not until 2pm You ignored the signs, tried rattling the locked back door to the kitchen and came around to the only door open and then attempted to push your way into the dining room. This room had just been cleaned. You were stopped. t was apparent even to the dimmest, person that the dining room was closed, but you then proceeded to push your way in and advised that you would be signing in at 2pm. You were an hour early. Was I supposed to clap hands and embrace you and start the fryers so you, cold have a meal. As stated the dining room was closed, we are in the NZ Hospitality Shoulder Season, there is a shortage of staff in NZ and with a full house, the priority for us is preparing the units. It is apparent you think the world should revolve around you, and there's no regard for the other guests who were scheduled to turn up at 2pm and expect to find a clean unit. Lessons you may find useful, Read signs Understand you do no not sign in until after 2pm, If doors are locked they are for a reason, open your eyes and listen when you hear there is a shortage of workers in NZ hospitality. Consider the economics of what you were suggesting, Respect there are others beside yourself and Finally learn to accept rejection Don't worry we won't be sitting up all night lamenting you won't return.

It was over priced because you booked through an online travel agency.. They are a business you chose to book with them and pay extra booking fees. Try reading the descriptions about motels and you will learn what is on offer. We do not offer television in the rooms, and who needs it when you can listen to what the neighbor's are saying through the paper thin walls! It's reality tv at its best You Should have stayed home and you could have watched all the television you wanted, ..
