"As mentioned by others, the actual experience is so much better than what you see in the photos!! Fishing right from the back of the house is amazing and watching rafters float by while relaxing out back was super enjoyable for the whole family! Can’t wait to visit again!"

"A nice little cabin in a nice neighborhood. It has all the necessary amenities for a quick get away in the woods. Perfect place if you are wanting to have fun in the snow during winter. The host is extremely friendly, responsive and accommodating. We are definitely going to re-consider this place for our next visit to Alta Sierra."

"Since we arrive, the magical neighborhood welcomed us with the rabbits around. It feels really lively and purest place, the rocks, the sky, we instantly fall into love We we opened the doors my cousins was so excited and when you see the kids having fun, it’s all that you need. "Beautiful property and an amazing 1st visit to the national forest. We will definitely be back for a stay in warm weather to hike more trails. The snow made the area really magical as there were hardly any other people around while we hiked the area. My kids loved sledding in the little hills in the yard. My husband and I appreciated the attention to detail in the cabin. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully curated for travelers."

"We spent a week up at this beautiful cabin. Originally we had planned to go to Sequoia and King's Canyon National Parks, but decided that a 2.5 to 3 hr drive each way was a bit far. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the local area. Don't miss the Trail of 100 Giants! It was the Sequoia experience without the crowds. The owner was very quick to respond to questions and other needs. We loved it up here and would come stay again!"

"We had a great time renting the cabin. The area is very quite and beautiful. It is exactly what we were looking for- R&R away from home. The cabin had everything that we needed. Dee, the hostess, was super helpful as well! I will highly recommend renting this cabin!"

"I usually travel with my best friend for my birthday weekend this year I wanted to make it a family trip to make memories with the grandbabies. This was a perfect place to do this. It is located at the top of the mountain so the view is amazing. Their is a game room that the grandbabies and all of us loved. Sunsets are amazing and the people around are so friendly. This I would say was the best trip and I'm excited to do it agian and we plan on booking this same cabin. Absolutely love this place"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cute A frame. Everything was as described in the listing. Very clean, well maintained, comfy bed, nice linens and towels. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Peaceful location with easy access to Lake Isabella and Kernville. The host was very helpful and gracious. We would stay here again."

"It was nice and private of which we really enjoyed!! The view on the front porch was very nice, we had coffee there every morning and really enjoyed it!! I gave a 3 for cleanliness as there was a lot of cobwebs that could be swept down. The description was fairly accurate with the exception of the driveway was very steep making finding it in the dark a bit of a challenge. Overall we had a good visit and we would definitely rent it again! Thank you!!"
