"The parador is set away from the centre of town in an obviously affluent residential area so is quiet and calm, although it's a short taxi ride to the historic centre. The staff are welcoming, especially at reception, and rooms spacious (although bathroom is small) with balconies. The junior suite is huge. The pool is also huge (and unheated) surrounded by lovely gardens. It is good value for money. The restaurant is good (book ahead, it gets busy when it opens)."
