I was extremely disappointed with this rental. The home was not properly equipped to sleep or occupy 10 people. The basement was finished and had a small bedroom, but we could not use it because it was damp and smelled like mildew. I actually had to go out had buy an air mattress and sleep on the floor in the living room. The kitchen had a small counter attached to the sink, but no kitchen table. It was very difficult for us to eat because of this. The ad said there would be shampoo in the bathroom and there was not. Our biggest complaint was the bathroom. How are 10 people supposed to use one bathroom?????? The ad had different pictures of the bathroom describing it differently, which made it seem like there was more than one. The ad does say one bathroom, but I missed it because the pictures and the descriptions were misleading...... At times, some of us actually had to go to Dunkin Donuts in order to use the bathroom because others were taking showers. I believe advertising 10 occupants with only one bathroom is against RI State law. I will be calling this week in order to find out. Again, extremely disappointing and strongly feel that the owner should give us some money back because that house cannot legally occupy 10 people with only one bathroom. I believe a rental in RI with only one bathroom can only legally occupy 6 people. I will be calling the State in order to confirm this. This was an extremely disappointing experience to say the least!

The house was very cute and had new floors and appliances, it pretty much had what we needed for a comfortable stay. The view was amazing and I liked how the first floor was really open which gave my family of four more room. The only thing that I wasn’t thrilled about was there is no closets or burrows/drawers to put your clothes in which wasn’t ideal living out of our suitcases but what can you doWe brought our dog and he really loved the nice dog park less than 10 minutes away. We could take him to other pet friendly places like Colt Park and Ragged Island Brewery up the street which was a great spot! Location is good because it’s like 25 mins to Newport where we spent the day and also across the bridge to Bristol where there was really great restaurants on the water. I highly recommend The Beach House, the sunset there was amazing! House is not far from 2nd and 3rd beach which were really nice beaches to visit as well!
