"I rated „good” only because the bar wasn’t open which we found out one day prior to check in. I booked this hotel because of it location and for having a bar and a pool. Other than that it deserves a thumbs up. "

"I highly recommend staying here so much better than a hotel I felt like I was at home to living room with the fireplace was awesome to sit down and relax in the lower level has a little bar and a pool table all area I like that I could actually open the windows in my room Being able to have a snack or grab some water in the kitchen area anytime was great the free parking was easy location was great walking distance to all the fun we definitely will plan to come back and stay here again"

"Great location! Price and value was good for my budget. Staff was all really nice. Our room’s air conditioner wasn’t working they were able to switch room and got one that works better. Property might need sum upgrade, rooms are clean but older and lack charging plugs…but for the price and not a lot of expectation for our last minute trip, it worked out great and the fact our dog get to stay free was a bonus! Will stay again tho, just hope they can upgrade their rooms. "

"We love to come to Portsmouth and always stay at the Residence Inn. We love the location and the kitchen in the room. The hotel also has breakfast, a pool, and is pet friendly. You can park conveniently across from the hotel. For Christmas, everything is beautifully decorated."

"Very adequate hotel in the Portsmouth area. Very pleasant staff, quiet pool in the back. Easy route into town with plenty of malls, access to the highways. The town of Portsmouth is lovely with many restaurant choices and lots of trees and a nice farmer’s market."
