The staff was nice and helpful. The room looked clean, but needed some upkeep. The sheets and blankets were stained and didn't smell good; I sprayed body splash on the pillows and sheets because the smell was really bad. The room smelled like mold and the carpet was oddly always damp, leaving our feet with a weird slight wetness. We also wore socks because the carpets left our feet dirty underneath, therefore leaving our socks damp all the time. Everything needed to be exchanged for new bedding g and carpets. The walls also had various stains everywhere that did not wipe off. On our second morning there I saw 2 roaches in the bathroom. If we had seen these in day 1, I would have left. Unfortunately for us this hotel was the highest rated in the general area and after visiting we saw that it was basically the ONLY hotel in the area. We needed a place to stay for a festival we were attending and all the hotels were booked. I don't really understand how the hotel had the ratings it had, but it fooled us. I'm glad we forgot our swimsuits because I wouldn't want to know what the indoor pool was like. The only saving grace was the friendly staff. Quality inn needs to redo their rooms and give the staff a raise
