Quiraing Cabin is a luxury self-catering cabin in north Skye. Designed as a nature-lover's retreat, it's the place to stay if you love wildlife, adventure and relaxation! Panoramic views from the cabin's huge windows, and the covered deck make the perfect indoor-outdoor space. Located just 20 minutes from the main town Portree - between the iconic Quiraing mountain and the sea - Quiraing Cabin is the perfect base for exploring the Isle of Skye.

The cabin was amazing! We loved the location and the view. The cabin had everything you would need, with some additional special touches to make you feel at home. The welcome basket was a wonderful surprise.

This was a perfect jump off place for exploring the Isle of Skye. Everything we needed was available in the cabin, including binoculars for observing the wildlife on the mountain side. We were blessed to have a beautiful clear night for star gazing- which for us was the highlight of our stay! Thank you both for the memories of a lifetime. Highly recommend staying here, and would gladly stay here again!

Cozy cabin with a stunning view. This was the perfect escape and we loved waking up to the beautiful views everyday. It is close to the Quiraing and Storr hikes, as well as kilt rock lookout. The lock on the door was a little hard to work and I think could be fixed/replaced, but otherwise the stay was perfect. Overall, would highly recommend this for a stay and would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location to hike the Quiraing and An Storr. Just 30 minutes drive from Portree if you crave an evening out but the kitchen was an excellent plus to make breakfast before heading out.

Beautiful!

This little cabin feels like it’s set in a storybook. The green hills, the beach, the sheep, and curious cows - totally worth a bit of a bus ride and walk. Loved it!

Impeccable stay in the Isle of Skye

Great little spot in Skye

The cabin was a wonderful spot to stay while we were in Skye. It’s very clean, cozy, and well-equipped. We really enjoyed the views and the ability to store and cook food here for our hikes and after.

Perfect Getaway💜

Amazing cabin!

We had a fantastic 5 night stay here. The cabin was perfect. Kitchen very well equipped. Views were incredible and the location exceeded our wildest expectations. Thoroughly recommend staying here for peace and tranquility with amazing countryside and wildlife on your doorstep

2 day stay - loved it!

The property was very clean, and the hosts provided us with plenty of cookware to make meals plus an extensive book on local sightseeing, walks, and places to eat! Modern interior, very warm and cosy, and the bathroom/shower was very comfortable (no problems with hot water!). Lively views from the large windows and curtains to cover up the windows at night. Waking up to views of the hills was really special. Thanks very much!

Perfect spot in Skye

Lovely cabin with everything you need for a stay in Isle of Skye. Loved hanging out by the fire pit and watching the sheep and other wildlife roam about. Perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. Everything was great and would stay here again!

Cozzy cabin with a stunning view

The property is amazing and well located. It is near the local buses (57A and 57C) that pass fairly frequently. There is also the cafe the hungry gull that I highly suggest going! The locals are also really friendly.

Quiraing cozy cottage

This was a lovely studio cottage. We stayed for three days and found this to be a great location. We made full use of the kitchen to cook up meals. All necessary items were there. Loved watching the sheep in the pasture next door. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to others.

Perfect honeymoon stay!

My partner and I stayed for 3 nights as part of our honeymoon in Scotland and this was the highlight of our trip. The cabin was a perfect place to relax and easily accessible to countless activities in isle of skye. All the touches to the cabin were so thoughtful and we had everything we needed. In fact, we needed up spending an afternoon at the cabin playing scrabble and enjoying the views as we were so comfortable there. Thank you so much Lizzie. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

A Little Paradise

The small cabin we rented was a marvel of efficiency and a simple, beautiful design, placed in a meadow that faced mountains and friendly, grazing sheep. The place had everything we needed, including fine welcome gifts of locally made products. The locals were extraordinarily friendly. Elizabeth was very helpful and available to answer any questions we had. This is a place I will not forget.

Perfect Place to Stay

We had an amazing time! Everything was exactly as described (or even better - my personal highlight was the coffee machine). You can really see the love our hosts put into the cabin. The location is perfect to explore the most beautiful places on the Isle of Skye. The weather wasn't great during our stay, so we really enjoyed relaxing in the warm, comfortable cabin and looking out on the beautiful landscape after a day of hiking. We also loved the thoughtful welcome gifts. Lizzie was a great host and I would highly recommend staying in the cabin! Thank you for everything!

Sheep and mountains

This cabin worked out well for our plans on the island. It's a great location for getting an early start on the best hikes. It was very comfortable and had a great view of the mountains. Although it's near the owners house, it is positioned to have a nice amount of privacy. Elizabeth was quick to respond to any questions we had and very helpful. We enjoyed some of the items in our welcome basket that she prepared as well. The only disadvantage of staying up in Staffin is that food options are limited so you'll need to plan your meals well while you are near Portree. We would gladly stay here again.
