Beautiful room once I got in but very hard to get in the building. I arrived to Porto a few hours early via train and wanted to see if I could leave my bags with the property prior to check in. Unfortunately they don't send checkin information prior to checkin time, at least in my case. I was able to find another number to talk to someone on Whatsapp but I found the face to face interaction rather rude after dragging my luggage and myself uphill. My stay there once I got past checkin was fine and close to much of what downtown has to offer. I never had to get on a bus, however I did get a Bolt ride to the airport.
My advice to this property is to double-down on its communication with its guests prior to arrival. Let folks know what to expect at least 6 hours before they are expected to arrive, especially if they want to operate without a front desk associate. It will make a world of difference for your business in happy returning guests.
