The hotel is in a great spot to walk around the city. The room is very small but clean. There is a staff employee on site to help with all your needs. They use what’s app so you can text to ask for room cleaning or extra coffee etc.

Hesitant at first but as soon as we entered Boutique Aliados felt comfortable and at home. Clean neat and comfortable family room, safe location overlooking city municipal building walk to restaurants, market with fresh delicacies especially sea food, fruits, empanadas etc. Breakfast delivered timely chef’s choice or menu. Kudos to Gustavo & Leonardo staff very accommodating friendly. We will be back!!

Superb location in Porto center

Check in via the app was very easy. Reception provided the access codes and we went straight to our room. We had the junior suite with spectacular view from the square. We had room service breakfast daily in our room and was very delicious. The rooms are in the city center and very convenient located to all touristic attractions. Definitely would stay here again! Response time of reception via WhatsApp was very fast! Very good service.

This was by far my favorite and the best property I’ve stayed at in Porto in this price range. The building’s entry is unremarkable, but when we entered the unit we were wowed! True to the photos used to advertise. Nicely furnished and designed. Very clean. Spacious bathroom with spacious shower. Check in is handled remotely, and the communication is reliable, easy, and kind. A unique code is provided for entry to building and unit upon arrival. Views from windows are great. Elevator is a plus. Located in a safe neighborhood within minutes of many good restaurants and cafes. About a seven minute walk to the train station. Great location from which to explore the historic district on foot. Next time we’ll stay here for a longer visit!

The room was gorgeous. We loved the generous breakfast buffet delivered on a gold cart. The location is hard to beat. But be warned that the suite of rooms is on the 5th floor of a strange office building with a sketchy looking facade.

Great location and having a balcony was great. Clean and well serviced room, nice powerful hot shower and the washing products provided were good. All amenities worked, fridge was handy. Sofa bed was hard and lumpy for the kids and the safe code didn’t work. I’d recommend staying there as it’s still central, out of the heaving waterfront area and comfy enough.

A Wonderful Stay in Porto

I had a wonderful stay! Thank you to the staff for their quick responses and their overall communication. The room was beautiful and very close to all the well-known landmarks in Porto. The breakfast was also a great addition. I will be returning to this hotel during my next stay in Porto.

Our stay at 262 was perfect. The location is walkable to most attractions and very close to the train station and the metro. Rooms were very clean and well equipped as well as tastefully decorated. A gem! My husband forgot an item in the room and very quickly received a what's app message about it. We would stay at this property again when returning to beaufiful Porto. K Riley

Room was clean, updated, and nicely decorated. Bathroom was big. Room had everything we needed. It was in the city center and within distance to everything. Metro is a block away. It looked like we were going into out own apartment when we checked in, which was great. It was exactly what we needed and check-in and check-out remotely was a breeze. I would stay here again.

Well I'll start with the negatives having tried it I'm not a fan of remote access and would therefore not book this again. However, the positives are it's a great location and the breakfast was superb. Communication with the host was good and quick and there were no real problems. I just prefer to stick with a hotel and a reception. The room was ok, extremely clean and with everything you need although I thought it was a little small and the bed settee was set up as a bed when it was not required, making it even smaller. I also don't like to have breakfast in my room and prefer to go to a dinning room but this wasn't possible, so again it's down to personal preference as I said the actual breakfast was excellent.

I noticed bad reviews concerning the front desk being virtual. The virtual front desk (via WhatsApp) was excellent. They responded immediately with answers to our questions; they gave us clear directions from the airport, they helped us check in early, they were wonderful. the room was modern and lovely. Everyone who has given a bad review for the virtual front desk, I suggest you read hotel listings thoroughly, so you know what to expect. This was a fantastic clean hotel, location, and value. I cannot say enough nice things.

Very central, easy to see all attractions from this location. The room was comfortable, clean, bedding fresh, ample towels and room equipped with basics such as shampoo conditioner coffee microwave fridge and basic cutlery. We were on the 6th floor with a balcony which was lovely to sit and watch the activities of the square with a coffee. The balcony was clean with table and chairs. My feedback for improvement would be there was little room with the second bed in the room which we thought was to be a couch, regardless didn’t change our experience just made the space smaller which was fine. Would have been helpful to have USB or USB- related points integrated into the power points as well as maybe a kettle which I know isn’t customary in this part of Europe. We had a wonderful stay and would stay again at this accommodation.

Check in is contact less, you do need to provide your prior via what’s app. On the day of check in you will be provided with the code to access the building and unit. We needed our luggage stored which they did for free.Very clean unit with a modern bathroom large full size bed sitting area and closets. The building has an elevator and central air conditioning. Centrally located in Porto which made it easy to walk to the many sites shopping areas and restaurants. The view from the unit is of the back of the building the pictures on line are from the hallway. Despite this still an amazing unit.

(This is based on our experience in Dec 2024) Ants infested and security concern. We bought a box of pastry to bring home to the family. Overnight, the ants covered the box! I took the picture and videos. The ants were coming from either next door or the unit below (we were on the 5th). This was our biggest disappointment w/ the property. This happened on the last night of our trip, so we went home empty-handed. The single password that accesses the first gate is same throughout the property. Yes, your neighbors technically have access to your room, too! Before you use the in-room coffee maker, run it through a couple of cycles to test it. We did and we found coffee-ground in the water and the color of the water came out of the coffee maker was brown. (wish we have taken the video) Wifi or phone service needed upon arrival! You need to be able to reach the "onsite" staff. We ended up stopping by the hotel next door to get their wifi. Other than that, the bedroom is equipped with "bullet-proof" door...literally...the thickness is equivalent to the bank vault. The general condition of the room is clean and without any oder. The subway station is right outside of the hotel...and everything (restaurants and popular destinations are all within the walking distance). Other traveler have indicated this: This is more like an air-bnb than a "hotel".

Room was nice and clean. Bed was comfortable. Shower had only hand held that worked (had another mounted shower head that looked nice but if it works I couldn’t figure it out.) Room was quiet and air conditioner worked well.
