"From my 11 yr old daughter - “It was awesome! I would not change anything about it”. I can’t agree with her more. The staff at Tutabel was exceptional, professional and made us feel like royals. When we mentioned a dish we had in São Paulo, the next day they made it for lunch and delivered it to our room. I even ordered a late night snack through WhatsApp. They arranged for taxi to and from the Quadrado and airport. They gave enough space for you to enjoy the tranquility of the facility yet ever attentive to your needs (just in case you wanted a coconut). Breakfast was lovely and inclusive with just about all varieties of food fruits and pastries. We enjoyed the beach to ourselves as there was only 3 different groups (mother daughter, a couple and a group of about 6/7). We did kayaking on the river which got scary for us because it was so secluded but relaxing. We hiked through the gardens, played in the games room, walked by the pool (who needs a pool when we have the entire beach to ourselves). The rooms were spectacular. You went to sleep at the sound of the ocean. Things to note: 1. They spend Real (Brazil ) not usd. Everywhere accepts credit cards.Taxi costs about $90usd each way to the airport. 2. The hotel is about 1.5hours away from Porto Seguro airport. 30 mins away from the Quadrado. 3. Tutabel is where to go for quiet, relaxation and luxury. They offer many nature activities such as: biking, bird watching, swimming, kayaking, hiking, and beaching. 5 stars!"

"The small property is impeccably kept and appointed. We were sad our stay was only planned for 2 nights…would have been happy to stay and enjoy longer. This location is great for a very quick walk into town; they also offer admittance to their ‘villas’ property just down the road where we enjoyed beach club amenities."

"I can’t say enough good things about Pousada Quarto Crescente. The rooms are beautiful with huge bathrooms. The compound itself lovely with great tropical landscaping. Best of all are the people. Everyone there was wonderful. Also included were complimentary daily passes to a great gym. On leaving I was given two huge lemon cakes. Probably the best hotel experience I’ve ever had."
