Has all the amenities and comfort one needs. I’ve been to other hotels in the area and this is the best one in terms of convenience, walkability, location and activities by far. I’ve been a customer of this hotel for many years and the quality is always top notch.

I think this hotel is overpriced considering the room condition and the amenities offered. Unfortunately we got in the room and we found a dirty toilet seat, which was disgusting. I just remain in the property because it was too late to find a place for sleep.

Not worth the price
The hotel looks nice and it has a great location, but definitely not worth the price. The mattress was too soft and the balcony doors wouldn’t close. Only one person at reception regardless of the time of day, unable to handle check-ins, check-outs and other people that needed assistance. Won’t be coming back.

The hotel really was amazing and I wanted to give it a full 5 stars; however, there were a couple of things that just made it so I couldn't do that. The biggest issue I ran into was the mattress. I have slept on pull out sofa beds that were more comfortable. The mattress was thin and old. It sagged horribly in the middle where people have slept for years. Also, there is a giant hole in the support where you almost feel like you are going to fall through. It was a Queen size bed, so I am not sure why there were 2 separate box springs. The discomfort of the bed almost made me want to change hotels during the course of my trip. I couldn't get a good night sleep and was in pain every morning. Housekeeping only showed up twice during my week stay. This caused me to have to go downstairs and ask for toilet paper twice because it wasn't refilled. When they did refill it, there was only one roll. Lastly, the breakfast is amazing except for the eggs. Every single morning they put out a pan of eggs that wasn't even cooked. Literally, egg "juice" rolling around a pan while it sits on a heater. Other than these issues, the hotel is amazing. It's clean. The staff are the best. The breakfast, if you don't want eggs, is otherwise fantastic. I wish I could say I would stay there again, but the issues around the bed and mattress make me want to look elsewhere during my next visit to Porto Alegre.

For Porto Alegre this is a very nice hotel, but the building is old so keep that in mind…the views are amazing and the staff is great. We’ve stayed here a few times and it’s a great location near everything and right in front of a great park.

The location was convenient for us, but the noise from the street is annoying even from the 12th floor because que door of the varanda don’t close properly. The hotel is not bad but is definitely getting old.

Our “queen” bed was actually a twin bed poorly joined together by a pillow top. I actually fell into the space between the two beds and almost injured myself. Extremely disappointed with what was supposed to be a juinior suite.

I have stayed at this hotel many times in the past, and was always happy to return. I've stayed in different hotels in between, and none (even newer ones) were as good as the Blue Tree Towers Millenuim. Now, after an almost two-year hiatus, I came back to a total disappointment. I don't know if management changed or what really happened for it to undergo so much change. Tired after a long trip, I waited for the elevator (only one of the three seemed to be working) for a long time, only to see it arrive with a couple of employees inside. Once I let one of them exit, the second one just quickly closed the door and left me there. I mentioned to the front-desk attendant how rude that had been, but he totally ignored my complaint. Once in the room, the window did not open - the strap to pull the shades up or down was notoriously broken. The safe did not work either, and the lock on the door was missing. Upon calling the front desk and asking to be placed in a different room, they refused to do it, and made me wait for a maintenance guy's assessment first. Well, he arrived, and did not need more than a few seconds to realise everything that was wrong, and called the front desk telling them I needed to be moved to a different room immediately. The second room was even worse: dirty, still no lock on the door, no towels, and with both remotes for the TV and the AC not working. The breakfast buffet, which used to be excellent, was not even a third of what it once was.Not going back

the location is great, across street a green area and the river. beuatiful. the downside is that is a busy road and it is super loud. the windows don't have good isolation so you hear the street too much.

As a guest of other properties of the Blue Tree chain I was a little bit disappointed with this particular one. The room was dated and not very well maintained. We found a whole and stains on one of the linens. The towels were old and looked cheap. The mattress was uneven and uncomfortable. Also we had a problem with air conditioning that was spilling over the bed, after calling the reception desk they promptly changed us to another room. In the new room one of the night stands was totally loose as well as the night lamp, the lamp was being held with a piece of paper. The highlight of our stay was the customer service, we were extremely well treated by all the staff from our arrival until we checked out. Also the facilities were all of high quality and well maintained. Location is good, close to one of the main shopping malls of the city and also just by one of the best parks in Porto Alegre.

Great service, location and views
It was my second time at this hotel, and I loved it even more than my last time. The hotel staff is very friendly and courteous, making any request a breeze. You won’t find a better location and better city views in POA - it’s in the best neighborhood next to Praia de Belas Mall, stores, restaurants and a gorgeous state park right in front where you’ll be able to experience marvelous sunsets from the bay or your hotel room. The breakfast is stupendous, offering all kinds of goodies, from gluten-free/vegetarian to meat lovers. They’ve got it all. The only downside is that you have to pay for parking at the hotel while staying with your car. It’s a bummer, but certainly doesn’t diminish your experience. And don’t forget about the warm pool with scenic city views - it’s a must!

Great location. Good breakfast. AWESOME river view ! ! Great money value. We've already been there 3 times, passing by the city, with the whole family... their family apartments (two rooms) are great.

Hotel does NOT have a safe in the room, even though your website stated it did. The hotel taxi driver did not know his way around, did not use a GPS and got lost in the city. I was late for my meeting because of this. The area is very run down. I would not recommend to others. I would not stay here again.

Exactly what I needed
This hotel is in excellent location in the Menino Deus neighborhood, right next to Praia de Belas Shopping Mall. It's also next to a central bus station and looks to Lago Guaiba (Guaiba Lake) and Parque Marinha (a big state park) which are directly in front of it. My room had a beautiful view to the lake. The breakfast buffet is wonderful, the staff is excellent (respectful and welcoming), and the room I was at had comfortable mattresses and was very clean. The wifi signal is strong, there is a pool, a gym, and conference rooms. No complaints from me and will definitely stay here again!

Great hotel
I've just stayed in this hotel for 3 days. It was great. Great breakfast, location and view. Attentive staff. There is a heated pool on the terrace with beatiful view.

Overall it was a fantastic trip for both my Husband and myself. We would definitely stay in the Blue tree Millinium Hotel again. I would not choose the 18th floor for the Sea view as we could not access the Balcony. Safety issues. However, the staff were lovely especially the porters, splendid would be the word for their happy dispositions and helpfulness.The Breakfast was wonderful and we loved the pleasant staff and manager. We were visiting family who lived about 10 minutes drive away so did not use the Hotel amenities. The cleanliness could be better in the bathroom. The air conditioning was excellent and we slept wonderfully.
