Come disappear into the woods for a while.
Perched 18 feet above the ground and held up by four living trees, this is the kind of real treehouse most of us dreamed about as kids—but with a giant soaking tub, fireplace, full bathroom, kitchen, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and a very comfortable bed.
And if you really want to make your stay unforgettable, ask Peter about scheduling your very own Bigfoot sighting. :-) You never know what might come wandering through these woods...
Zip line down, soak under the trees, wander the forest trail to the suspension bridge, or simply sit on the deck and listen to the woods. Deer, owls, eagles, rabbits, chipmunks and the occasional coyote have all been known to share the neighborhood.
The craziest part? You’ll feel like you’ve escaped deep into the forest, yet you’re only about 10 minutes from some of the best Portland has to offer.
### The space
This isn’t a treehouse that simply sits near some trees—the trees are part of it.
Three enormous trees grow right through the deck and are visible from the windows inside. The huge deck has its own dining area and is surrounded by beautiful forest views and wonderful solitude.
Inside, everything has a little personality. The kitchen features fun retro-style appliances, pine walls give the entire space a warm cabin feeling, and the fireplace glows beside the dining area while warming the treehouse.
The full indoor bathroom features an artistic tiled shower, so you get the adventure of sleeping in the trees without giving up the comforts of home.
Even getting upstairs is fun. The brilliantly designed space-saving staircase is much easier to navigate than the ladders and steep stairs found in many tiny homes.
Upstairs you’ll find a super-comfy queen bed, a couch/workspace that converts into a double bed, and one of our favorite features—a giant hammock suspended above the living area.
Curl up in the hammock and watch a movie while floating above the room below. Fair warning: it’s so comfortable you may start negotiating over who gets to sleep there.
Then look up.
Three skylights frame the massive trees overhead, along with three upstairs windows that make you feel completely surrounded by the forest.
Outside, take a magical stroll through the woods to the suspension bridge, try the zip line, relax in the giant soaking tub, or just enjoy being somewhere that feels very far away from ordinary life.
And when you’re ready for civilization, Portland is right there. The Rose Garden, Council Crest, beautiful hiking, Northwest Portland, great restaurants, Bamboo Sushi, Salt & Straw, Voodoo Doughnut and many of the city’s best-known attractions are only minutes away.
You get the forest retreat without giving up the city.
And remember: if an ordinary treehouse getaway just isn’t adventurous enough...
Schedule your own Bigfoot sighting with Peter after booking. It might just become the story everyone remembers most. :-)
### Getting to the treehouse
Part of the fun is getting there. From the parking area, it’s a short 2–3 minute walk along a forest trail to the treehouse.
Please wear appropriate shoes. The trail is part of the natural woodland setting and can occasionally be slick, especially when wet.
### Guest access
You’ll have access to the Tree House, the huge private deck, the giant soaking tub, and the secluded picnic area.
Two designated parking spaces are provided near the beginning of the trail.
We ask guests to stay within the designated Tree House, deck, soaking tub, picnic, and trail areas. Although it feels incredibly secluded, there are neighbors nearby.
Pets are welcome but must remain on a leash while outside.
Come climb into the trees, forget what time it is, soak under the forest canopy, cross the suspension bridge, listen for owls...
...and maybe keep one eye open for Bigfoot. :-)

Our stay in the treehouse was awesome! The kids loved the zip line and the suspended net to watch movies was another favorite part of our stay! The place was clean and had all the things we needed for our stay!
Adorable and comfortable place to stay! It was close to all the activities of Portland but the feel of being remote in the woods. Zip line and hammock were fantastic.
My family loves the treehouse experience! So pleasant and gracious for us to stay there! The zip line was awesome for the kiddos and they loved the mesh bed! We would definitely stay there again!
The treehouse is fun. Lots of cute details to discover. The location is good. We saw lots of cute animals. Highly recommend the Cornell Farm Cafe for breakfast.
We had such a great time in this cute little treehouse. It was very clean, had everything we needed, and the owner Barry was very attentive and helpful with any questions that we had. This is definitely a place to stay if you’re more on the agile side but I enjoyed feeling like I was in the middle of the woods sitting on the porch. Very private and quiet as well. Beautiful neighborhood. I would recommend this to an active couple or small family!
It was a charming stay. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and actually didn’t mind the neighborhood location at all. However, wish we knew of the trail to get to the treehouse. With a bad knee, coming home in the evening was difficult even with the lighting. Overall well worth it, it and would come back.
We had a wonderful stay at this cozy and comfortable Vrbo! The place was well-maintained, inviting, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The owner was incredibly accommodating, friendly, and easy to communicate with, which made the experience even better. It truly felt like a home away from home. We would absolutely recommend this property to anyone and would love to stay here again in the future!
Very cute treehouse. Comfortable and clean. Perfect size for a couple looking for a fun place to stay. Property manager was very responsive and friendly. Husband and i went for a weekend getaway to celebrate my birthday. Conveniently located with lots of places close by.
We loved our stay at the treehouse, except that we were two couples and the sleeping situation wasn’t great for couple #2. The main bed was comfortable, but the futon was very uncomfortable and didn’t fit two adults. I ended up sleeping in the hammock, which wasn’t real great on my old lady back. I wouldn’t recommend more than two adults planning to sleep there. The soaking tub also left a lot to be desired… we didn’t end up using it because the pavers around the outside were all out of order and it was full of pine needles we didn’t want to mess with. Other than that, it was great! Wonderful deck, very clean shower, nice amenities!
Everything was great. Good parking. Easy directions and easy to follow video. Fun trail, and the tree house was so beautiful and different. Pretty clean too! The tub outside was awesome. The only problems we had is when we first got there, another couple showed up after us and said they were booked to stay there too just on a different app. Which made things really awkward when we showed them our reservation and they ended up leaving. We also had trouble with the key not working, and the temperature in the shower was either cold or scolding hot. If you tried to make it just warm the water pressure would hardly work. Maybe just needed maintenance. All in all very fun stay. Had everything we needed, comfortable bed, and being from a small town and outdoorsy we were very cozy!
Staycation date night with partner. Definitely not “roughing it” with this treehouse experience! It’s a fully equipped, fully comfortable tiny home in the trees! I agree with other reviewers that 2 adults max would keep the experience most comfortable. But I could see 2 adults plus 4 kids having a blast here. Enjoying the spa tub might require a bit of an adventurous spirit :). Following the directions we couldn’t quite get a full tub of hot/warm water, but it was enough to slink down and get most of our bodies in the water.. It was raining heavily, which we loved, and about 50 degrees outside.. afterwards we were happy to retreat inside to this beautifully warm space, turn on the wall heaters and get cozy!! Easy to get cozy here. We recommend bringing robes as we did. We tossed the mattress onto the hammock (found folded under main bed) and spent most of our evening there, going thru the conversation cards we found on the fridge. We slept amazing on the full size bed in the loft, listening to the rain tap on the skylights. Might want to bring an eye mask if you plan to sleep in :). We’re amazed at the craftsmanship, the dimmable lighting, ample outlets and kitchen amenities. The place was clean and ready for us and the host answered questions in a timely manner. Great spot!!! We’ll be returning for sure, and bringing our kids.
We LOVED our stay in the Yeti Treehouse! The bathroom is huge, decor is adorable, and hammock & bed were comfortable. It was a fun and unique stay, while being close to all of the conveniences of the city. It was a beautiful short walk through the woods, and there are plenty of birds to enjoy while you sit on the porch drinking coffee or soaking in the hot tub!The videos for check in were also very helpful!
