Room was clean and tidy. Facilities to make a coffee, but the kettle would not fit under tap in the bathroom so made that a little tricky. Overall ,a pleasant and comfy stay.

The air conditioners are poorly located and very noisy. The air conditioner for the next door room kept me awake for most of the night.

No one at reception to great us on arrival at 2pm. Had to phone to get instructions for Room number & admission to it. Toilet bowl dirty with seat half off plus shower screen hanging off rail which had to be rehung prior to use.location only redeeming feature.

Owners were lovely, was a great quiet place for us to stay while watching grandchildren in the cricket carnival. We were happy to be on the outskirts of Portland. Suited our needs for a sleepover place. Very clean and lovely fresh smell on entry. Lovely big towels too.

Not so nice…

Compared to the other motels and b&bs on our trip, this was the worst. The bathroom was small, old and shappy with a shower head placed much too low. the towels were nice. There were no wineglasses, no decent milk or water bottles or other products. The bed was too hard. So not a nice place…

The property was clean and neat however, the bed was very uncomfortable. The room could do with a refurb as it is a bit outdated. The staff were very friendly and helpful, made us feel very welcome and our check in easy as we arrived late.
