This superb house features a stunning living room wrapped in a bucolic mural with plenty of comfortable seating and a large screen TV. The kitchen is well appointed and equipped with all the cooking implements you could need, as well as a coffee maker and electric kettle. For sleeping arrangements there are 3 bedrooms, 2 queen beds and 1 twin bed, perfect for a group of friends or family. The 2 bathrooms boast an oversized soaking tub and a walk-in shower. I loved spending time in this thoughtfully put together home. It is indeed chic, very personal, and our cat was comfortable here. The downstairs shower was my favorite bathroom, the shower is beautiful and cozy. The beds are wonderfully comfortable, and there were featherdown pillows in each room. My kids did argue over who got the small cute though

Absolutely fantastic stay! The house is clean, comfortable and has all the amenities to stay in. However with such a great location to all that Portland has to offer taking a quick walk to whatever strikes your fancy is highly recommended. The bakery on the corner has great coffee and baked goods. We didn’t need much from Doug but when I messaged him he was very responsive and accommodating. The beds are extremely comfortably. The location is quiet, within walking distance or a quick uber to downtown. My two friends and I all agreed that this was one of the best guest homes we have stayed in. I hate hyping up this wonderful spot because it will make it harder to book. Sometime's these stays can be hit or miss. And everyone should be aware if they read my long review that this is a gem of a stay. Thanks Doug! We will be back.
