About this property

Exquisite Historic Suite Close to Downtown 14-21673

  • Located within walking distance to downtown Portland and convenient to the Pearl district, this romantic private suite is appointed with all of the luxuries found in a fine hotel. There is also a communal deck with mountain and river views available for your use when the weather permits.
    A queen sized bed in the main bedroom sleeps two but there is also another queen sized sofa bed in another room along with all the bedding needed. A small kitchenette and a sitting room with a counter for your electronics serves as a breakfast table. Since it was my art studio there are lots of art and interior design books to peruse along with games to use.
    The suite is accessed by an elevator and it is completely private. #14-21673

My sisters and I met here for a two night. Stay to enjoy some live music downtown. This property location is excellent for both neighborhood safety, quiet and beauty. We had the sensation of being in a treehouse! Just a lovely lovely place to be! And our host, Vicki, was great with communication and created a very welcoming vibe. This place is wonderful! It is eclectic and in a great location! Close to almost everything we did! The view from the deck is stunning and available to guests! It is very hilly and the walk we took around the neighborhood was amazing! We also walked five minutes to a delicious neighborhood Italian restaurant! Also Vicki’s artwork is fun to admire around the unit! I would definitely recommend staying here!

A most wonderful place to stay

My daughter and I stayed at Vicki’s beautiful house. We were able to take advantage of the deck and enjoyed the view while sharing some wine. The accommodations were perfect: clean, spacious for us, nicely decorated and comfortable. Restaurants were nearby. We definitely would like to return. Thanks Vicki!

Great get away

This property has a great ambiance, both where you stay and the deck the owner shares with visitors. We spent much more time this stay on the deck with a beautiful view over looking Portland. Can’t say enough how much of a hidden gem this place is, we have been staying there for years and will be back!

quiet neighborhood stay

This suite was the perfect size for my spouse and I for our overnight trip coming from Eugene OR. The location was very quiet and just up the hill from a charming Italian restaurant where we dined the night we stayed. The location has easy street parking (a bonus) and access to an amazing deck (via an elevator). Staying only one night (for a concert the next day) we didn't take advantage of the kitchen or dining area, but they are ample and well-stocked. We will definitely return to Vicki's place - great location close to downtown but in a very nice peaceful neighborhood.

Perched on a steep slope, the rooms have a great view through the woods to the east. Easy street parking, nice fireplace, excellent shower, and the separate deck area would be outstanding in better weather.

Cozy and beautiful stay in Portland
